Countdown Of The Top Six Chefs On Food Network

6. Sandra Lee

Famous for her show “Semi-Homemade Cooking”, Sandra Lee has become well known for her easy and “interesting” take on recipes with 30% fresh ingredients and 70% store-bought ingredients. Although the premise of her show seems to be unique, her belief that cool whip with a splash of vanilla extract is a great replacement for icing is quite terrifying to the average food network viewer. For this reason alone, she should be much lower on this list, but her love for “cocktail time”, strange Halloween costumes, and window curtains that match her outfits have scored her the spot as #6.

5. Guy Fieri

Guy Fieri is the star of the show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives”, where you’ll find him driving state to state in his red convertible and strange sunglasses, looking for good eats.

The show is filled with food that will make your mouth water and weird catchphrases like “Flavortown” courtesy of Guy Fieri. Unfortunately, as fun as it is to see the different foods that all of these unique diners are cooking up, Guy Fieri’s screaming voice, lack of eating manners (ahem, please use a napkin, Guy), and porcupine, bleached white hairstyle (that’s sooo ‘N Sync) bring him to spot #5 on our list today.

4. Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood, the wife of Garth Brooks, is a country singer herself, and the star of her show, “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen”. From the looks of it on her show, Trisha seems to be a your typical, lovely, sweet-accented Southern woman—the type of woman who you’d want to be your best friend’s mom so that whenever you go over for dinner, there’s always warm biscuits and sweet iced tea on the table. Although she may not be on Paula Deen’s level when it comes to butter and sugar, her foods are fattening, sugary, cheesy, and everything southern and delicious. A pleasant and silly chef to watch, but because she always oddly ends the show with a song on her guitar, Trisha Yearwood scores herself at #4 on the list.

3. Giada De Lauerentiis

The beautiful and amazing Italian brunette, Giada, makes all of her viewers feel like they’re in Italy in all of her episodes. Why? Slightly because of her Italian flared foods, but mostly because she doesn’t understand that “spaghetti” is totally not pronounced “spe-geyhhht-iii”. We’re in America, Giada, not back in Naples. Aside from that, she’s absolutely adorable and brings so much enthusiasm to the show. We love her, her foods, her kitchen, and her adorable cooking companion/daughter, Jade, which is why she is at #3 on our list.

2. Bobby Flay

Bobby Flay, one of the hottest famous gingers (besides Prince Harry, of course) who hold a spot in many of our hearts. On his most famous Food Network show, “Bobby Flay’s Barbeque Addiction”, you can find him flashing a dreamy smile at the camera as he rubs some Ancho Chile Powder and a squirt of a lime onto some a hunk of meat that’s sizzling on the grill. His food is always themed and he makes watching his show seem like you’re there cooking with him (or just staring into his dreamy blue eyes as he whips up a watermelon mojito for you). What can I say? Bobby’s a true charmer, a great chef with amazing recipes, and it’s so just too hard not to have him as #2 on our list.

1. Ina Garten (AKA Barefoot Contessa)

From her seemingly endless amount of denim button-downs to her sassy and snooty, high-class remarks, Ina Garten proves herself to be “the betch of all betches”. In her show, “Barefoot Contessa”, everybody in East Hampton seems to be her “dear friend”: the florists, the butchers, the farmers, the bakers, the firefighters, even TAYLOR SWIFT??? Yes, you heard me. They’re as close as two peas in a pod in Ina’s famous “vegetarian split pea soup”.

She’s always in the kitchen, whipping up something just absolutely fabulous and filled with perfection for friends that are probably named Hamilton and Guillaume or, of course, her loving hubby, Jeffrey. Speaking of whom, we’re not even quite sure what his hobbies are or what his job is (if he even works, for that matter), but we DO know that Ina’s Whiskey Sours and famous Strawberry Tarts are the way to his heart. Her simple, tasty, and classy dishes paired with her fabulous taste for floral arrangements and dinner parties keep her viewers wanting more of her and her fitting attitude. For these reasons, she has earned herself the spot at #1 to watch on Food Network. In Ina’s words, “Now how easy was that?”.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
