1. I stopped eating healthy and exercising.
Yep, there it is guys, finally written down on paper so that the whole world knows. It’s hard to admit this to everyone. I was the “fat girl” who did Crossfit and ate clean...now I’m just the “fat girl” who...well...basically, is letting herself fall into old bad habits again. Do I plan on letting this go on for much longer? No. Do the guys intimidate me at the gym and stop me from lifting weights? Yes. Should they? No. I can’t let this go on any longer. I’m the only one stopping myself from reaching success. I’m going to lift those weights like I own the gym! I’m going to eat healthy like I own that dining hall, and I’m going to take control of my life like I own myself!
2. I’ve skipped more than one class.
Mom, Dad, anyone who cares about me who is reading this: DON’T FREAK OUT! I still keep up my grades and take responsibility for all that I miss. It’s just sometimes I’m lazy and tired and just don’t want to sit through another class. I know that is no excuse, but this article isn’t about making excuses - it’s about being honest with my college experience so far.
3. I sometimes wear the same pants three days in a row.
I know it sounds gross, but being lazy does something to your head! It’s not like the pants are dirty! They were just worn, they don’t smell, and they don’t have stains on them. So why waste money and time?
4. I have basically committed a crime.
Okay so it’s not serious or anything so don’t get too worked up. It’s all food related. When a dining hall doesn’t let you take out food to bring back to your dorm but you’re paying freaking thousands of dollars to be there, you have every right to take a banana (or 10) from that fruit bowl and take it with you back to your dorm! And so what if i order french fries and eat them before I get in line to pay? COLLEGE IS EXPENSIVE.
