We always claim that this summer will be fun, exciting and one to remember. In case you have yet to create your bucket list or plan any unforgettable events with your squad, here are a few concerts to create the best memories this summer.
1. Drake
If you haven't heard his newest album, "Views," never cried during "Marvin's Room," weren't hyped by the Drake vs. Meek drama, did not laugh during Drake's "SNL" skits or never did the signature dance while "Hotline Bling" played, then you obviously did not try to purchase Summer Sixteen Tour tickets or do you deserve to obtain a pair! Along with Future, Drake will be performing more than 70 shows in the U.S. alone. This concert is so anticipated that Drake felt the need to perform four Madison Square Garden shows, two others in New York and another two in New Jersey. Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.
2. Jon Bellion
The up-and-coming singer, songwriter, producer and rapper recently released his newest album, "The Human Condition," after having released four mixtapes. He was also featured on New York's #1 Hit Music Station Z100's Snapchat when he visited their sound room! This summer, the artist will be touring cities including Boston (June 20), Cleveland (June 22), San Diego (July 9) and New York City (June 29 and June 30). Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.
3. Justin Bieber
Of course we all know who Justin Bieber is -- especially after all the talk he caused in 2015. After releasing his fourth studio album, "Purpose," and creating a new and improved reputation for himself, the artist announced his world tour dedicated to not only his fans but also to his progression and change after a difficult time in his life. His tour includes special guests and is said to have very high ratings from fans, non-fans and critics alike. He will have 19 more shows in the United States before continuing the Purpose World Tour out of the country. Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.
4. Beyoncé
Queen B, as always, will be delivering more slay this summer, not only during The Formation World Tour, but also in The Music of Beyonce with Alicia Keys & Rihanna feat. Angel Ram. Peggy Truong from Cosmopolitan speaks on The Formation World Tour and says, "The concert is celebratory and uplifting and its setlist is eclectic, with classics like "Survivor" and "Bootylicious" alongside surprises like a Eurythmics cover of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)." It's classic Beyoncé, choreography tight and stunning, a visual masterpiece." Need I say more? Tickets for both events can be found on Ticketmaster.
5. Paul McCartney
The Rolling Stone released an interview with the former Beatle on July 17, 2014 when he stated "he has no plans to retire from touring." And now, two years later, clearly lives up to his words after releasing yet another tour announcement. The artist is set to perform not only at seven North American shows but also three Germany shows for his One on One Tour this year. His website states that the tour will "unveil a dazzling re-designed set, dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul's entire career as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle and no shortage of surprises." Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.
6. Twenty One Pilots
Rock and Pop categorized artists have moved from radio stations to small shows to multiple EPs to a song on the movie "Suicide Squad" -- and they refuse to stop there. A Ticketmaster review posted by someone who attended the Twenty One Pilots Emotional Roadshow event on June 12, 2016 said, "This was the most incredible experience of my life." Another fan who attended the event on May 31, 2016 said, "After camping out all night, I wasn't sure I'd be able to summon the energy to enjoy the show to the fullest. Fear not! The boys did not disappoint and energy was over-abundant! From the opening to the encore the music was great and the show was spectacular! My girls and I went straight home and ordered tickets for the Louisville show in March!" Clearly, it is an emotional roadshow indeed, considering fans are obsessed with the two men and all their musical abilities have to offer. Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.
7. Kanye West
Kanye? Pablo? Yeezus? Who cares what the man's name is -- he is still making headlines. With his newest album, "The Life of Pablo," the artist hit his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Considering none of the tracks off the album were available for individual purchase and were only allowed to be streamed on TIDAL, the album debuts on nothing but the strength of current-day music streaming and, of course, traditional album sales. Billboard states that "in terms of streaming units at No. 1, Pablo has the second-largest streaming sum, just barely behind the chart-topping bow of Justin Bieber’s Purpose late last year." The two top streaming artists are set to tour this summer, so let's just hope for fans to receive one collaborate show. This tour will be the legendary performer’s first North American tour in three years and is one that is much anticipated. The newly announced Kanye West: The Saint Pablo Tour is set to begin on Thursday, August 25, 2016. More information regarding the artist and his tours can be found on TIDAL, while tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
