I recently went to a concert on July 8, 2016. It was for Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas' Honda Civic Tour when they were in Brooklyn, NY. Though, even in the nosebleed seats and with half of my snaps failing, I had so much fun.
Concerts are such an amazing experience, and I highly recommend going to one if you haven't already. And I've been to a handful of concerts.
1. The Hype The Day Of The Concert
Getting ready, driving to the venue, getting your merch, getting to your seats.
2. Actually Getting To See Your Favorite Human(s) Live
Like, come on. How can you not be excited to see them?
3. Meeting New People
You just feel like you have this bond with these strangers that you just met.
4. You Can Forget About Life for a Few Hours
Having a bad week? Have no fear, concert day is here!
5. Getting To Sing Along To Your Favorite Song
You don't care how you sound, you're just in the moment. And you just want to sing. And no one can stop you or yell at you.
6. Dancing Like There's No Tomorrow
You can bust out your new dance moves and no one is around to judge or make fun, because chances are, others are doing the same exact thing!
7. Taking Pictures Or Videos So You Can Still Live In The Moment The Next Day
And when you show your friends, you hope they're instantly jealous of how much fun you had.
8. Screaming At The Top Of Your Lungs When The Lights Go Down
Admit it, we're all guilty of doing this.
9. No Matter Where Your Seat Is, You Still Have Fun
Just being so grateful you're even there. It feels like you accomplished something.
10. When Your All Time Favorite Song Comes On
You just have to jam the most to this song. Like you can't even help breaking out into song and dance.
11. The Accomplishment Of Knowing Every Single Word To Every Song
You feel like a champ.
12. Screaming So Loud You Think You Lost Your Voice
We've all been to those concerts where you just scream your head off. Don't worry, I do it, too.
All in all, concerts are so much fun. You end up not losing your voice and you come out of this whole thing on such a hype, but then the post concert depression is very, very real.
