We make up 10 percent of the population, but we're still forgotten. From the devilish can opener to the uncomfortable ice cream scooper, it seems like the world is against us sometimes. There's no denying that we're the odd people out, but that doesn't mean that we can't gather together and unite. Here are a few of the soul-crushing issues we face on a daily basis.
1. Spiral notebooks don’t care about you.
“Honey, why are there so many marks on your arms?” your mom always asks. Don't be fooled by how "cute" this notebook looks. It's deadly.
2. Binders don't care about you.
All you want to do is write a sentence on a piece of people, and all of a sudden, your left hand is stuck in the rings of a binder. Seriously, it’s like the whole world is against you. Oh, the struggle.
3. Crossword puzzles and birthday cards can be a pain in the you-know-where.
You can never revel in your glory after finishing a difficult crossword puzzle -- mainly because you can’t even read your answers. And, as for the birthday cards? You have to go five cards before you can finally write a message without smudging everything.
4. Walking into a room filled with these.
Until you find a one-in-a-million desk that can fulfill your left-handed needs. Hallelujah!
5. Scissors.
You could never get anything done in arts and crafts, but that didn't stop you. Come at me, Hello Kitty.
6. Spending your entire school career bumping elbows with your right-handed desk neighbors.
It got so bad that you had to switch desks for the rest of seventh grade math class.
7. And, last but not least, this.
Also known as the Silver Surfer Hand. Beware.
Sure, we die 10 years earlier, but at least we're special.
