The thing that has made us look forward to Mondays is back! There is nothing better than that first few episodes of "The Bachelor" that introduces us to the BIG personalities of 20+ women. What else can you expect when you put that many women in one house? Well, I do live in a sorority house with 47 other girls, but things get a lot feistier when they are all pulling for that attention of one EXTREMELY sexy ex-NFL virgin.

1. Alex D. -  Zoology

Giphy

Oh, Alex. It is a bold move to come out of the limo in a sloth costume. The thing that made her my personal role model though, was her dedication to staying in character ALL night. She spoke painfully slow and only lifted her mask to sip her wine. She is inevitably the Zoology major, prioritizing identifying with an animal over actually trying to stay on the show.

2. Onyeka - Business

Giphy

Onyeka is none other than that ONE super competitive person who takes every test, project, or presentation and overachieves. She's kind of an attention whore and wants everyone to know exactly where she's at with Colton, even though I'm pretty sure they haven't kissed yet. So who else LOVES talking about their achievements but hasn't really had any? Those Broad Business students that just got in three weeks ago.

3. Tracy -  Super Senior

Giphy

Demi would be the first one to say that Tracy is the 5th (or more) year senior that's still fighting with undergrad sorority girls over the cutest guy in the frat. I'll leave it at that.

4. Demi -  Communication Arts

Giphy

Demi is all about the spectacle. From her group-date speech that ended with a kiss in front of the rest of the girls to her outspoken, confident comments, Demi is definitely someone I'd want on my side. Because of her confidence, fun-loving attitude and natural magnetism toward the camera, she is through and through a fellow Comm Arts member making her way to a reporting position on E! News. (Or become one of the Desperate Housewives, whatever comes first.)

5. Heather -  Women's Studies

Giphy

Ms. Never Been Kissed. Does she have a real career? I guess we'll never know. But I do know if she was a college student, she'd be a Women's Studies major. It's the only thing that would justify her natural fear of men, right?

6. Nicole - Global Studies

Giphy

My girl is definitely a Global Studies major. Her passion for her Cuban heritage along with her mysterious demeanor mimics the way a country sizes another up just before a war. She's got to be a ticking time bomb just waiting to let her Latina attitude be set free.

7. Kirpa - Packaging

Giphy

Who? Oh yeah. She's extremely beautiful and sweet, but she's just kind of in the background. She isn't popular or controversial enough to be talked about on social media. She isn't aggressive about getting Colton's attention. She's kind of like a Packaging major. Probably really smart and cool, but just needs a little help in the social aspect. Kirpa is definitely a behind-the-scenes girl, but maybe one day she'll surprise us with a revolutionary way to use plastics! Or I guess in this case, more than a two-minute conversation with Colton.

8. Catherine - Public Affairs and Policy

Giphy

The infamous interrupter. She always has to get the last word in. Sounds kind of like a James Madison student to me. She may not really know exactly what she's saying, but she WILL keep going until she feels that she gets her point across. She also will put off all other things to get ahead, as shown when she handed her dog off to Chris Harrison.

9. Cassie - Education

Giphy

I definitely have a girl crush on Cassie. She's soft-spoken and super cute and seems the most put together and the least into drama. I have her pegged as an Education major, reflected by her love for children as well as perfectionism. She's also the type to listen to parents bitch at a PTA meeting, but never interject, much like the girls in the house.

10. Hannah B - Nutrition Sciences and Toxicology

Giphy

Hannah B's main goal in life is to take down Caelynn. She's brought out the claws and is ready to fight because she just wants to beat her at SOMETHING. She's studying Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology so that she can put herself on the perfect pageant diet while learning how to concoct a poison that might just end up in Caelynn's cocktail.

11. Caelynn - Marketing

Giphy

Caelynn will stretch that 1st runner-up Miss USA until the day she dies. This is what would make her an ideal Marketing major. She already has her brand-herself. All she has to do is make herself stay relevant long enough to make some money from her "painstaking" career in the pageant circuit.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
