1. Get LOTS of Rest
After hard assignments and chores that we college students usually have, a rest is definitely needed! Whether it's after traveling or after a long week of school, rest should be one of the first things you do. Trust me, getting all the rest you can will be beneficial in the long run—can someone say all nighters? Yeah, when the opportunity of pulling an all nighter presents itself, you'll be thinking back on those cozy nights you were catching some sleep over your break.
2. Put in Work
When on break, it is the perfect time to get your educational juices flowing. Now that there is no worry about chores and other tasks, your break is a fine time to get some things accomplished. Use this as a head start on assignments; that way you're worry free when you get back to campus. We all know that procrastination can be a pain and a hindrance. I know, I know, it's a break, so why are we doing work? Let's just be frank about it: the best way to utilize a break is to get a little stuff done, that way you actually get a break when there is none.
3. Spend Quality Time with Loved Ones
When at home, one of the best ways to use your break is to spend time with friends and family. While away at school, you may miss moments and events. This is great to catch up and learn about what you have missed at home, that way you won't feel as if you've missed too much. Of course, you won't be able to see everyone while at home BUT a call or text letting them know that you've traveled or that you're home will make a big difference.
