There are different dynamics of relationships in college, whether you're in one, want to be in one, or are constantly surrounded by one and of course, the single and proud. The world of college dating is all very unnecessarily confusing and complex, but Friends seems to have the perfect scenarios to describe each relationship type.

1. The one where they have a new person every week


2. The one where you're not the one in a relationship, but instead the roommate


3. The one where your friends question you about your on again/off again guy


4. The one where your partner constantly messes up and asks for the millionth second chance


5. The one where you're the one constantly messing up


6. The one where you fight like an old married couple


7. The one where you pretend to be someone you're not


8. The one where they ended up being the one pretending they were someone they're not


9. The one where you question whether you're the reason you're still single



10. The one where you're not the only one


11. The one where you're lonely and have just come to accept your unchanging status



12. The one where your "friend" turns out not to be so


13. The one where you decide to tell your crush how you feel


14. The one where your crush isn't as great as they were in your mind
