College Problems Told By Disney

Being an adult is hard. But what's even worse is pretending to be an adult. In college, you are still kind of a teenager who doesn't know how to do your taxes or your laundry but is expected to figure it out. But in addition to this confusing state as an almost-adult, you have to go to school, too? Wow, that sounds stressful.

1. When you wake up and don't want to get out of bed.

Your bed is so much warmer than the cold, harsh realities of school.

2. When you don't get out of bed because you never went to bed.

If I only I looked as cute as Dumbo after pulling an all-nighter...

3. When you wake up and only have 5 minutes to get to class.

Unless you just skip the class. Then you just look like #7.

4. When you look in the mirror and scare yourself because you look horrific.

The biggest difference between me and Beyonce is our #IJustWokeUpLikeThis faces.

5. When you are struggling to stay awake in your 8 a.m.

Who even takes an 8 a.m. class? Probably the kid who actually does his/her homework.

6. When you forget to bring your homework to class.

Sometimes, "forgetting" your homework can be very useful, though...

7. When you make up an excuse for forgetting your homework.

The more dramatic the excuse is, the better it will sound.

8. When you get your test grade back.

"My grade does not define me, my grade does not define me, my grade does not define me."

9. When your responsibilities catch you off guard.

Responsibilities are a slippery slope. Hahahaha. I'm laughing through my tears.

10. When you open a door and there isn't any ground to walk on.

The metaphor is just so accurate.

11. When your friend does better on a test and you have to pretend that you're happy for them.

Hope your poker face is better than mine. Honestly, when your fellow bulldog gets 0.5% better on a test, it's just infuriating.

12. When you realize that means that you are completely heartless.

If only you could just let it go.

13. When you come to terms with your fate as a college kid.

Is this all there is to college? Surely there must be more!

14. When you remember that you have five papers to write in two days.

It's like my teachers got together and asked, "What day should we assign these research papers to be due?" and then CHOSE THE SAME DAY.

15. When you just don't care enough to do anything.

This is my personal favorite college problem. #YOLO

Happy YOLO-ing y'all. Here's a quote for inspiration:

Is a nap really procrastinating if you're tired?

Wise words from Katie Chappell. You're welcome.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
