Remember the good ole days when Disney Channel played our childhood TV shows, such as Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven, and Hannah Montana? Remember how we looked up to those child stars? Hannah Montana, or Miley Stewart by day and Hannah by night, taught us valuable life lessons that we all need to remember as we navigate this harsh world of college.

"Next time you feel like...it's just one of those days...when you just can't seem to win. If things don't turn out the way you plan, figure something else out." -Nobody's Perfect

College can be stressful. Anxiety and depression are increasing in college students. But take this advice from Hannah Montana and figure something else out, don't stay down.

"You can change your mind; that's just the way it goes." -You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home

College is all about finding who you are. Whether that's changing your major three times or changing up your coffee order, you can always change in college. No one is here to judge you.

"I'm unusual, not so typical, way too smart to be waiting around...I might even be a rockstar." -Rockstar

As you walk out of your exam that you thought you bombed, take that stride of pride and feel like a rockstar. As Hannah put it, I might even be a rockstar. Rockstars don't take tests!

"Go on and make some noise, every girl has a choice to lead their own parade; I do it my way." -Who Said

One of my favorite songs by Hannah Montana, this lyric tells you that you can do anything you set your mind to it. Want to double major in engineering and writing? Do it! Want to start a new club? Do it! Want to be Superman? Do it! You CAN DO IT!!!

"You never know where you'll find it and I'm gonna take my time, yeah; I'm still getting it right, this is the life." -This is the Life

Like I said earlier, college is about finding yourself and changing your major to what you want to do. It's okay to take your time to figure this whole college thing out. If you really need to take a fifth year, do it. This is the place to figure it out before you're thrown into the real world.

"Tonight we're gonna get this." -Gonna Get This

This is self-explanatory for during finals week. When you're in the library studying or on your way to that 7:45 a.m. exam, your brain tells you that you're gonna get this. In Iyaz's voice, of course.

"Give yourself a break, laugh about it and you'll see." -Life's What You Make It

After a long, stressful week, sometimes you just need a weekend to de-stress. Go out, stay in, eat an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's, and turn on Netflix. Laugh at a funny show and you will see. Life is what you make it after all.

"It's sooner than I thought but you called me out." -Start All Over

When your professor gives you your exam back that you thought you did well on but you really didn't.

"The weekend's almost done, the moon is low in the sky, I feel like going out before the night passes by." -Let's Dance

If you want to go out to a party, dance on the dance floor until 2 a.m. with friends, then this song is perfect for you. Sometimes you just need a a party on the weekends.

"I've always got the memories while I'm finding out who I'm gonna be." -Wherever I Go

Finally, like I've mentioned earlier, college is about finding out who you're gonna be. Make memories, have fun, make mistakes, do whatever. You're gonna make mistakes but cherish those memories. You can learn from them and help them on the path to discovering YOU.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
