You can do this. You will get through this. Power through. You've worked so hard.

Maybe for you it's spring break, and all of your friends are on cruises in Florida, or somewhere else that's a lot warmer than where you are, but you're stuck at home staring at the wall or knocking out all the work that your professors so graciously assigned to you for you to complete during your time off. Maybe you're just stuck in a rut; you've been burning the candle at both ends all semester, and you're burning out.

How do you bounce back? How do you get yourself out of the valley when you're feeling so drained, so stagnant and so done? Seek comfort, seek encouragement and seek rest in God's word of love and grace and strength. Here are a few songs and verses that may help get you through the rest of the semester:

Songs

1. "I Breathe You In, God" — Bryan & Katie Torwalt

When I don't understand, I will choose You.
When I don't understand, I will choose to love You, God.

2. "Trust It All" — Brett Stanfill

My life is in Your hands. I trust it all, I trust it all to You.
My dreams and all my plans. I trust it all, I trust it all.
Forever I'm changed, I'll never be the same,
because of Your love, because of Your love.
Forever I'm changed, I'll never be the same,
because of Your love, because of You, Jesus.

3. "Great Are You Lord" — All Sons & Daughters

All the Earth will shout Your praise.
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing, "Great are You Lord."
It's Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise.
It's Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise.
It's Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to You only.

4. "Defender" — NewSpring

You are rich in mercy, slow to anger; Your love endures forever.
Who is like you, Lord, in all the world? Your love endures forever.
Our shield, defender; You're mighty to deliver. How great is our God?

5. "Give Me Faith" — Elevation Worship

I may be weak, but Your spirit's strong in me.
My flesh may fail, but my God, You never will.

Verses

1. Isaiah 40:27-31 (MSG)

"[Why would you ever complain, saying], 'God has lost track of me. He doesn't care what happens to me'? Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening? God doesn't come and go. God lasts. He's Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength."

2. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (MSG)

"...then he told me, 'My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.' Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. [...] It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size - abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become."

3. Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG)

"I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

4. Matthew 6:34 (MSG)

"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes."

5. Philippians 4:13 (MSG)

"Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
