From learning how to do laundry to meeting new people, College is a time of experiences. It is a place where people go to get an education while learning how to live on their own for the first time. You can meet new people as well as try to figure out how to balance your classes and life. Here are some situations all college students experience as told by the crew from the show "How I Met Your Mother."

1. When your teacher asks to hand in your homework and you forgot it was due today.

Wait, isn't that due next week?

2. Looking at the price of textbooks for the first time.

I think I may have to sell my arm and leg for the textbooks for one class

3. When you spend money on expensive textbooks and you open it once the entire semester.

Wait, so I actually did not even need to buy this book?

4. Pizza becomes a new food group.

You mean I shouldn't eat pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner??

5. From time to time you get that homesick feeling.

Don't worry, everyone feels the same way. You will see your family soon!

6. When you go home to home cooked food.

Nothing compares to coming home and smelling dinner being made in the kitchen

7. You find your friends who you can be yourself around

It will take some time, but you will find people who will accept you for your true self.

8. They will also always be your right-hand man

They will always have you back for any situation

9. Finding different organizations on campus to become involved in to add to your resume

Wow my resume is looking a little empty; maybe I will join a few clubs this semester

10. It is a time where it is acceptable to only eat take out food

I just need to take a break from the dining hall for a little while.

11. When you hear other people balancing six classes, homework, extra-curricular activities, exercise, and they never have mental breakdowns.

These people are very rare to spot on a college campus. They move quickly and will never be in one spot for too long, but they do exist

12. When the lunch lady gives you a few extra chicken nuggets.

Nugget Night just got a little bit better!

13. There is always that one person on campus who has a lot of spirit.

Look for the person the basketball game with their face painted the school colors and dressed in full spirit gear (maybe even a morph suit!)

14. Your reaction to hearing about your friend's night out

Then after that party what happened?!

15. When you miss your pet and so you feel the urge to cuddle with any animal you see.

What do you mean I should pet the stray cat that wanders around the neighborhood?

16. Everyone has that one class where they cannot keep their eyes open.

Maybe if I stare at the clock it will make time go faster

16. All of your professors decided to assign projects due on the same day.

I think they all sat around with their planners open and decided which days to assign projects so the due dates align.

17. "Don't wait until the day before to work on the project!"

A professor should not underestimate the power of a college student and coffee

18. And when you finally finish that project and hope that you did not forget any crucial information.

This is what I did and I am sticking to it. Let's hope for the best.

19. When you get through finals week.

Freedom! Now time to watch Netflix and be a couch potato to recover from the semester.

20. It does not matter if your friends hang out like this.

or like this

Those nights will be memories that last a lifetime.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
