If you’re a college student and not stressed, please let me know your magical secrets – for real, hit me up.

If you asked, “who is stressed?” every college kid would be able to raise their hand. Some days I actually feel like my head may explode. It’s not just college classes, though. We are asked to balance our whole lives. This means to make time for our 4.0 Deans List grades, spend time with our family and friends, having a social life at school, be involved in school, stay in shape... all while trying to eat, sleep and manage our money.

Honestly, though, I'm pretty sure that list should be longer. Sounds painful, right? Trust me, it can be. Sometimes I forget to do simple things like eating and smiling.

I have mastered the art of speed-walking to class. I have actually had people text me and ask me if I am OK. To answer everyone's texts now, yes, I’m OK. I just forgot to sleep last night while studying for my three back-to-back exams this morning. So I rolled out of bed and went to class wearing what I wore yesterday. I also forgot makeup exists and that I need to eat breakfast. But I’m OK. I may be sleep deprived and going a little crazy, but I’m alive and breathing!

College can suck. But it’s one of those things that sucks so much you never want it to end. These past two years may have been the most stressed I’ve ever been, but they are SO worth it.

I’ve enjoyed the sleepless nights, long talks with my roommates, the ranting, binge eating and endless days at the library. I wouldn’t change it.

College may be hard and scary at times, but don’t take the stress for granted. It’s so worth it in the end. I'm stressed, but I'm happy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
