I work in a coffee shop and I love making people their coffee, but I did not realize how much people enjoy coffee until that point. Everyone has their own preferences and styles and choices that they will constantly choose to order. However, it never ceases to amaze me about the number of questions that can come from one drink. What’s your regular order?
Do we choose to drink coffee because of the caffeine burst? Do we choose to drink coffee because it is socially cool and acceptable? Do we choose to drink coffee because it tastes good? Does the price of coffee bother us or is it acceptable because of the benefits we gain. How do you make a caramel macchiato? What would you recommend?Is it too sweet or too bitter? What has the least amount of calories but will taste good? Do you have something that doesn’t taste like coffee but will give me the same effects as coffee?
There are so many questions just about one thing — coffee.These questions change from when you work in a coffee shop to just simply buying coffee.Would you recommend working in a coffee shop? At the end of my day, the answer will be "absolutely!" Even the quietest introvert or the most social extrovert will be able to thrive at a job like this.If you aren’t good at multi-tasking you will learn fast how to.Memorization is not your strong point, repetition will be your best friend. At the end of the day though, it always comes down to two things, the questions and the coffee.
