There's nothing more than a good ole' cup of coffee in the morning or whenever you wake up. Yes, coffee isn't the best health choice, but at this point who even cares. Knowing I can enjoy a cup of joe when waking up in the morning helps me get through the day. Or anytime of the day for that matter.

And I know all you coffee lovers out there have experienced at least one or all of these relatable moments or feelings when enjoying (or needing) a cup of coffee.

1. Waking up on the wrong side of bed

Sometimes you just need a little good in your life so make the cup coffee to turn that frown upside down.

2. When you buy new K-cups

I get pumped up when opening up a new box of K-cups. Like, I can't wait to drink this delicious goodness we call coffee.

3. Fuel for those all-nighters

Finals are just around the corner and the need for coffee is stronger than ever.

4. 8 AM class

I got lucky this semester with all my classes starting at 10 AM or later but next semester I didn't get so lucky and have an 8 AM twice a week and a 9 AM three days a week so I'm going to need all the coffee I can get to get me awake.

5. When your friends/family don't understand your addiction.

Like, who are you people?

6. When it's FREE

YES, I LOVE FREE STUFF.

7. Thinking how dependent you have become on coffee

How did I live life before you, coffee?

8. When the holiday flavors are out

Pumpkin Spice, Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, etc.

9. And how about those decorative mugs?

It makes drinking coffee even more exciting because decorative or funny mugs are just awesome.

10. Makes you feel like you have your life (somewhat) together

My life might be a mess but as long as I have coffee I can pretend everything is going perfectly fine.

11. Coffee dates

Coffee dates with friends, with your significant other, your dog, etc. Just as long as the coffee is there, I'm there.

12. When you have coffee late in the afternoon

Might not be able to sleep later but hey, you still got that cup of coffee in.

13. Keeps you up when driving long distances

What would I do without coffee when behind the wheel?

14. Coffee shops

Cute little coffee shops make drinking a warm cup even better because you get this cozy and warm feeling and you just feel like your life is complete.

15. When all the coffee *mysteriously* is gone

Such a somber moment when you have run out of coffee.

I don't know about you but I'm going to go make a cup of coffee now. And I don't care if it's too late to drink a cup of coffee because it's never too late for coffee.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
