My whole life, I've been taller than the average female and a lot of times I was taller than my guy friends. I don't mind my long legs, but when it comes to shopping and finding the perfect outfit for a night out, it can be the biggest pain in the butt. No one wants to look like they're ready for a flood or have cold wrists. Lucky for you I've spent most of my life finding clothing stores that actually have clothes that fit my long limbs. You can thank me later.

1. ASOS

They actually have a tall section. Anything from fancy dresses to Adidas sweatpants, you name it. They carry literally everything and have the cutest items for my tall lady's.

2. American Eagle

If you're like me and your legs are longer than your upper body, it can be extremely difficult to find jeans. Not only does American Eagle carry longs, but they also carry extra long jeans and they have so many different fits and styles.

3. Ann Taylor

For all of my business casual ladies, dress pants can be one of the hardest things to find. Until I discovered Ann Taylor, I always opted for a skinny pair because they looked like they were ankle pants on me. You could forget about bootcut or flare because it was flood city. Ann Taylor carries long sizes and forever saved me.

4. Old Navy

If you're looking for cute, long and affordable, this is the place to be. They have everything from dresses, to jeans, and even active wear. You may have to search around a little, but I promise you'll find tall options.

5. Topshop

New and upcoming. If you're looking for all things trendy and fashion forward, this is the place for you. Their tall section is to die for.

6. Nordstrom Rack

All of your name brand items at a discounted price. I absolutely love this place. They have anything and everything and of course things for my tall pals.

7. Victoria's Secret

I've never had an issue with their leggings or tights. They are always plenty long enough for me and all of my short friends complain that they make them too long.

8. Long Tall Sally

Though I have never shopped here myself, they have sizes from 4-20 with inseams from 34" to 38" and up to a shoe size 13. I think they've got you covered.

9. Levi's

Another great jean find. They size everything by the inseam which makes us tall girls very happy.

10. Macy's

Their women's athletics department is my go to. They carry everything from Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, Calvin Klein and the list goes on. These clothes are made for athletes which, HELLO, are usually tall.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
