Climate change is a topic that is becoming very controversial all across the United States. Climate change is a critical change in the measures of climate that lasts for an extended period of time. It covers major changes with the temperature, wind patterns, precipitation and other effects that come about ten or more years later (EPA, 2011). Climate change is bad for people because they are not getting the same consist air that they used to get.

Global warming is a major contributor to climate change. It refers to the upcoming and ongoing rise in global average temperature near the Earth's surface. Global warming is one of the many causes of climate change (EPA, 2011). It only has one aspect of climate change, which is greenhouse gases. Climate change already has observable effects on the environment. It puts coral reefs in danger as the ocean is warming up. Scientists fear that coral reefs will not be able to adapt quickly enough to the changing conditions, bleaching incidents and diseases that will come. According the United States of America Global Change Research Program, the temperature in the United States has increased by two percent in the last 50 years. Meanwhile, precipitation has increased by five percent. There is more Carbon Dioxide in the cars than it has been in the last 800,000 years. Americans make up four percent of the world's population, and they produce 25 percent of the Carbon Dioxide pollution from fossil fuel burning (EPA, 2011).

Evidence that climate change is becoming a problem are the rising temperatures throughout the world. In 1990, the global ocean heat went down five percent. But in 2010, the global ocean heat reached it's peak 20 percent more than it did in 1990.There have been changes in rainfall, which is starting to cause more floods, droughts— and intense rain, as well as more frequent heat waves. The planet’s oceans and glaciers have experience some huge changes. Oceans are warming and becoming more acidic. Ice caps are melting. And sea levels are rising. The more these changes take place, the more they will present challenges to our society and our environment (Nature, 2015). Scientists are most certain that many of these changes and signs are linked to the climbing levels of Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.

Greenhouse gas is any gaseous compound in the atmosphere that is capable of absorbing infrared radiation, which traps heat in the atmosphere. Behind the situation with climate change, lies the increase in greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. The sun annoys the Earth with enormous amounts of radiation, which strike Earth's atmosphere in the form of visible light and ultraviolet light. The greenhouse gases are the large reason for the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is one of the leading causes of global warming. The most significant greenhouse gases are water vapor, Carbon Dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. Though oxygen is the second most abundant gas in our atmosphere, it does not absorb thermal infrared radiation. The amount of greenhouse gases have increased in the number of years. There are three reasons in which greenhouse gases influences global warming. First, its' abundance in the atmosphere. Second, how long it stays in the atmosphere. The third is global warming's potential. Methane is produced through agricultural practices such as manure management. Carbon Dioxide results from natural processes such as respiration and from the burning of fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal (EPA, 2011).

Carbon Dioxide is mainly for plant growth, which all depends on steady water supplies and climate change. Climate change can cause disruptive through floods and droughts. Warmer average temperature will lead to hotter days and more frequent and longer heat waves. This will increase the number of heat-related illness and deaths of people. The impact of climate change on health will depend on many things such as the effectiveness of a community’s public health, age, safety, and gender. Some will depend on the region, the sensitivity of population, the extent and length of exposure to climate change and most of society’s ability to adapt to change. The more frequent and intense storms may require more disaster relief and declines in agriculture may increase food shortages (EPA, 2011 ).

Carbon dioxide can stay in the air for over a century, this will cause the Earth to continue to warm in the coming decades (EPA, 2011). The warmer the air gets outside, the greater chance for more severe changes to the climate and the Earth's system. It is very hard to predict the exact impacts of climate change, what is obvious is the climate we are accustomed to is no longer a reliable source for what to expect in the future. This part of climate change is unavoidable.

Our lives are connected to the problems of climate change. Human societies have adapted to stable climate since the ice age which was thousands of years ago. A warming climate will bring changes that can affect our water supplies, power, agriculture, the natural environment, transportation systems, and the people's health and safety. Climate change has a big impact on heat ways. Heat waves can lead heat strokes and dehydration, and are the most critical cause of weather-related deaths. Young children, older adults, people with medical conditions, and the poor are more vulnerable than others to heat-related illness.

The Environmental Protection Agency conducts economy-wide tests to understand the economic impacts and effectiveness of proposed climate policies. They are reducing greenhouse gasses emissions and promoting a clean energy economy through successful partnerships. Partnering with the private sector through voluntary energy and climate programs. EPA’s partners drew back 345 million metric tons of greenhouse gases in 2010 alone which is equivalent to the 81 million vehicles and saving consumers and businesses of about 21 billion dollars (EPA, 2011).

There are companies that work day to day to help climate change. Their job is to strictly come to a solution to why the climate change in the United States has changed rapidly. More years ago the weather was not as how it is today. Companies take polls and test to know are the most issues. They run tests to see where and why the climate has changed. To calculate most of their statistics they look at graphs to see the difference of climate change between various regional. Also, they compile their observations and put them into graphs. To tell which states are the most affected their color coded by colors such as blue, yellow, orange, green, and brown.

In June of 2014, the Environmental Protection Agency proposed the Clean Power Plan( CDP, 2015). This is the first carbon pollution standards for the power plants already existing that will protect the health of our children and put our nation on the path of 30 percent reduction in carbon pollution. The Clean Power Plant will set amazing standards for carbon pollution from power plants, as we have put in place limits on power plant emissions arsenic, sulfur dioxide, mercury, nitrogen oxides, and soot.

The has worked endlessly to make improves in climate change within the United States. They are rising energy demands that are competing for a limited supply of fossil fuels. They work to provide companies with carbon management support services. The carbon support services will have the carbon dioxide that is in the world as of now. The supporting systems will benefit the United States because it will help places where the problem is more effective. They request information on greenhouse gasses emissions, energy use and the risks and opportunities from climate change (cdp.net).

The Climate Change Program addresses local greenhouses gasses emissions. The company’s projects are man-made greenhouse gas emissions, which cause climate change, will increase in by 35 percent 2033 and 44 percent 2050. The company has already begun to experience the higher temperatures flooding, and health effects related to climate change (mwcog.org). The futuristic statistics on how well they are doing now. This program has gathered information from different states across the United States.

Since 1988 there has been two main organizations in the United States helping climate change. United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Meteorological Organization (WMO) are the two organization still in effect after 27 years (IPCC, 2015). They are responsible for providing the world with a clear scientific view on the up to date state of insights on in climate change and its strive for environmental and socio-economic impacts. Another group is the Yale Project for Climate Project. They have the same ideas likewise to the United of Concerned Scientists. There job is to let the public know that climate change being a problem is not a hoax (billmoyer, 2015). They also produce stories on how fossil fuel industries and other private interest profits from inaction on climate change.

To help end the problem of climate change, a bill could be made to limit oil, fossil fuel, and nuclear plants from disposed into the air. This is what affects the air and makes it harmful for humans to live. This is not safe for people to be breathing nor is it safe for animals. The bill would be called Inhale; Exhale This bill would also expose more of what the oil companies are doing and let people know this bill will help them inhale better and healthier air.

There are a number politician that fully support the climate change policy, one politician that stuck out to me is Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI). He feels as though organizations needs to work harder to improve climate change. The government needs to create a policy that provides technology to focus on one companies and programs that provide support for climate climate. Technology could concentrate on the status of the places and when an oil, nuclear, or fossil fuel companies. If one of the companies use to much, a red alert will show up and they will be fined 75 thousand dollars. They will be fined because they would have already saved and taken an oath not to reach a certain limit and by doing so they will suffer the consequences. Until the companies or organizations pay the fine, they will not be able to continue work. The future of the climate change policy in the United States will one day come at a ease and be fix.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
