Clean Up Your Room!
Lets be honest, its about time that we cleaned up this mess. I am currently looking around at my (not as messy as last week) room and I can’t help but think of how much easier my life would be if it were clean. Though getting rid of a lot of stuff helped, it did not solve my problem. My problem is that I feel comfortable in my mess. I don’t feel at home until the space I am in has a bit of my mess in it. Coupled with the fact that I am too lazy to hang up my cloths, I constantly am living in a state of organized chaos. Now to any neat freak that is reading this, that terminology may seam like an oxymoron to you, but to my fellow messy people it makes perfect sense. We can be organized in our mess just as easily as you can lose items in your organized space. Its all a matter of connecting the dots. A messy person may even prove to be smarter then an organized person, merely because of the fact that we have to remember where we put everything. Most of the time we do! The rest of the time… Not so much. So my fellow packrats, it is time we rewire or brains to be organized. It is going to take some time, but I have faith in us (or am foolish enough to believe my own propaganda). A little mess is not a bad thing, it is actually a sign of creativity, but constant chaos is a bad thing. So start small and then tackle the rest. Start by throwing away all the trash and getting rid of everything that is holding you back. If you want to save stuff for your future children find a fun trunk or hope chest to keep it in. Then move on to hanging up the cloths that you wear the most and giving away the ones you rarely wear. Soon enough you will start to see the floor again. Cleaning up your room gives you more space to clean up and organize your life (as cheesy as that sounds), but you wont know until you try.
Get Your Life On FleekI have to be honest with you, I’m still not quite sure what fleek means. My best guess is that it means getting something right or perfect…. So I’m going off of that, so don’t sue me if I’m wrong please. My question is, why are so many girls worried about their eyebrows being on fleek when their lives are a mess?! Forgive me, but this needs to be said, leave your eyebrows alone, your life needs work! If you put all the time and effort into doing something good for yourself rather then on make up, you might just notice a change in your life. With the thirty minutes to an hour you waist on your make up you could be doing something that actually brings value to your life. For instance you can learn how to cook, read a good book, go to the gym, clean your room, walk the dog, do you homework on time (for once), call your mom (she will probably think something is wrong), or just take a moment to remember what an amazing person you are without the help of make up. I know, a lot of people are giving you crap these days about wearing make up. So Ill bring my little spiel to a close by saying this, true beauty comes with a pretty face and a beautiful spirit. Pretty is an accident of nature that is appealing to the eye, but a beautiful spirit is more beautiful then a sunrise and more valuable then all of Sephora.
