It's hard to find time to visit your favorite cities and even harder to find money for that adventure. Fortunately, songwriters have taken the time to write music about cities. Through that, we can live vicariously through the songs about other cities. Here are some of the best songs, in my opinion, that are based around cities.

Beverly Hills - Weezer

So is this really what Beverly Hills is like? Maybe. Or maybe it's just every person's fantasy of what life could be like.

Boston - Augustana

An oldie but a goodie, this song is about escaping from the reality of your own life.

City of Ocala - A Day To Remember

Chicago is So Two Years Ago - Fall Out Boy

Compton - Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is known for his politically conscious rap. Based around Compton, this artist gives his all in this song.

Detroit vs Everybody - Eminem, Royce Da 5'9", Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf, Trick Trick

For Baltimore - All Time Low

All Time Low is native to Baltimore, Maryland, so it isn't a surprise they wrote a song based around that fact.

Hello Seattle - Owl City

This song was the part of the soundtrack to my seventh grade year. Definitely made me want to go to Seattle.

If You Ever Go to Houston - Bob Dylan

A beautiful song from Minnesota native Bob Dylan.

Lisbon, OH - Bon Iver

Marching Bands of Manhattan - Death Cab For Cutie

No Faith in Brooklyn - Hoodie Allen

Carefree song from a carefree artist. What more can I say?

Riding to New York - Passenger

It's hard to "Let it Go" when it comes to this song.
