I'm Keeping My Christmas Tree Up All Winter

I'm Keeping My Christmas Tree Up All Winter And There's Nothing You Can Do About It

It's the WINTER Season... ;-)

I think that my tree would not be considered Christmas-y if the ornaments are taken off and the lights are kept on. I think to just looks wintry. I am also keeping up decorations that say "let it snow", and I am keeping up any snowman without holly berries or presents in their hands.

The tree looks wintry in my opinion. It looks pretty with the lights and brings the room together. It gives off a warm ambiance, unlike that of fluorescent lighting.

I've taken all ornaments off except for gold snowflakes and I've left the silver tinsel garland on as well as the lights. It looks wintry to me still. I will probably be taking the whole tree down by the end of this month to prepare for Valentine's Day decorating. (Yes, I pretty much decorate my apartment for every holiday—sue me).

There's nothing like coming downstairs and seeing those lights sparkling.

Or coming inside from a dreary, rainy day outside and seeing them light up the room in a calm, warm, and comforting glow.

Or having a bad day, looking up, and seeing them shine.

It sort of makes me upset when I come downstairs and see that someone has unplugged them, to be honest.

I guess they don't see it as I do.

Pretty, twinkling lights forever!

'That 70's Show' Christmas Episodes, Ranked

Holiday classics ranked for your bingewatch convenience.

Last week, I ranked The Office's Christmas episodes, so this week I'm going to rank the episodes from That 70's Show, my favorite show as a teenager. Still with the highest number being the best because of how this website works.

1. Winter (Season 7)

The show peaked in seasons 5 & 6, so while this episode has some great moments, it just doesn't measure up to the others on this list. Not to mention the Jackie & Hyde drama was a real downer.

2. The Best Christmas Ever (Season 1)

The first season's Christmas episode also has some classic moments, but the comedy just wasn't as strong in the earlier seasons.

3. Hyde's Christmas Rager (Season 3)

The Christmas party at Hyde's place was great, however, the Jackie & Donna plot feels a little lacking compared to some of the other Christmas episode plots.

4. An Eric Foreman Christmas (Season 4)

I tend to skip season 4 because Eric and Donna's breakup was hard on me, but this is a really good Christmas episode. Not to mention, Kelso's Christmas special is everything.

5. Christmas (Season 6)

This episode has everything. Red as Santa, Jackie and Hyde being adorable, the school dance, Eric finally being popular, Donna's bacon, and Fez with the bullies. And the TNT scene. Everything a Christmas special should be.

So there you go. Enjoy your holiday bingewatch!

A date for looking at Christmas lights is on the top of the list, for sure.

1. You have someone to do all of the activities with

He's like your built-in partner for everything. Wanna watch a movie? Take a nap? Need someone to help you clean your room? You've got your person.

2. You can steal his hoodies when its chilly outside

It doesn't even have to be cold for you to want to. Chances are its a size or two bigger than you need and his cologne is all over it.

3. Chances are he's more willing to drive in the snow than you are

Guys typically have a little more of a heavy duty vehicle. If you've got a good man, he might even rescue you an hour away in a blizzard if you think you're tougher than the weather.

4. Christmas movie partner!!

Do I need to add more?

5. He can always keep you warm

Bear hugs. Cuddles. His trucks dual air 90 degree heat on your side. He'll find a way to keep you warm.

6. Your family holiday events partner

Multiple Thanksgivings and Christmas' are a breeze with your favorite person by your side. Plus, no one to ask you where your plus one is or why you're single.

7. Matching Christmas pajamas

I don't know about you, but my family has matching Christmas jammies every year. You can even get your favorite person in on them too for a cute insta picture.

8. Your errand running partner

He's your built-in Christmas shopping partner so you aren't bored standing in line forever or while you're still shopping and he can act as your place holder.

9. You aren't the only single one in your family on Christmas Eve anymore.

It's awkward when all of your siblings are taking pictures with their others, but when you've found your person, you can do all the same things, including looking forward to your new year's kiss.

10. Making more memories

No better time of the year than Winter break to make all the memories with your honey freezing in the weather or sweating by the fireplace.
