Every year during the Christmas season many people gather around the television to watch their favorite Christmas movies. From the dramas like "It’s A Wonderful Life" to the comedies like "Home Alone", we all have our favorite ones that we watch each year. But what can make the holiday movie watching tradition more exciting? Making it into a drinking game of course! So here are some ways that you can make everybody's favorite Christmas movies into a fantastic drinking game.

"A Christmas Story"

  1. Every time the Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle is mentioned take a drink.
  2. Every time some says, “You’ll shoot your eye out” take a drink.
  3. When there is a dream sequence take a drink.
  4. When the furnace acts up take a drink.
  5. When Randy (the little brother) screams or cries take a drink.

"Home Alone"

  1. When a Christmas song comes on take a drink.
  2. Every time the name Kevin is mentioned take a drink.
  3. Take a drink every time a robber gets hurt by a trap.
  4. Every time Kevin talks to himself take a drink.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

  1. Take a drink every time the Grinch laughs.
  2. Every time someone mentions the word “Grinch” take a drink.
  3. When the narrator talks take a drink.
  4. When the Grinch does something weird or gross take a drink.
  5. Every time the Grinch talks to himself or Max take a drink.
  6. Take a drink every time the dog Max is shown.

"National Lampoons Christmas Vacation"

  1. Take a drink every time something breaks or gets damaged.
  2. When Clark talks about Christmas memories take a drink.
  3. Take a drink every time Clark insults somebody.
  4. When Clark is insulted take a drink
  5. Take a drink every time Clark doesn’t smile.

  4. Drink every time Scrooge looks grumpy or dissatisfied.
  5. Chug your drink when the quote, “God bless us everyone” is said.

"Elf"

  1. Every time Buddy sings take a drink.
  2. Drink when Buddy says Santa.
  3. Take a drink when someone says Buddy.
  4. Chug a drink as long as Buddy chugs the 2 liter bottle of soda.
  5. Take a drink when New York City is shown outside.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was).
