Christmas Day is one of the best days of the year, insomuch that it's sometimes hard to accurately put all the hustle and bustle of Christmas into words. One person, though, who never has any issues expressing their feelings about Christmas, is easily the 21st Century's most jubilant example of Christmas spirit: Buddy the Elf.
With that being said, here is Christmas Day as told by Buddy the Elf.
When you're the first one to wake up on Christmas morning.
Finally everyone else wakes up and you see all the presents around the Christmas tree.
Then you realize all the gifts for you are from your parents, not Santa (because you're an adult).
But you still got all the presents you asked for.
Everyone's finished opening presents, so you tell everyone the plans you've made for the rest of the day.
Then Mom reminds you about Christmas dinner.
So you rush off to get ready while singing Christmas songs.
You get all dressed up for dinner and take a look in the mirror.
Then it's off to Grandma's house you go.
You arrive and see the rest of your family.
All your little cousins attack you with love.
Then you see rich aunt Deb and realize you didn't buy her a present this year.
So you make up for it with compliments.
Once everyone's gathered around the table to eat, Grandma makes a comment about your college weight gain.
Grandpa tries to tell your little sister that Santa isn't real.
And uncle "Scrooge" says he can't wait for Christmas to be over.
The Christmas dinner table will put you through the ringer, but as Christmas day comes to end you sadly realize it won't be back for another year.
