Choosing a Halloween Costume as an Adult is a Task

Don't deny it.

Choosing a Halloween Costume as an Adult is a Task
All Home Party

You have to admit as a child, you loooooved the idea of Halloween. You got to be anything you wanted to be, and you got free candy out of it. It was like every kid's dream coming to life. And one of the hardest things was choosing a costume. An angel? A cheerleader? Oooooh, maybe a Disney princess.

Maybe you still love Halloween to this day. Maybe you still love dressing up for a nice adult Halloween party. Because let's face it, trick or treating after high school is out of the question. (I hope)

But you can't argue that the hardest part about Halloween is choosing a costume. And you can't argue that it only gets harder as you get older.

As a 5 year old, you could be a witch or Snow White and call it a day because you're 5 and adorable.

Then you hit 10 years old and you're not sure if you're too old to be Dorothy, but mom says you're not old enough to be a sexy devil. Darn.

Wait til you're 18 or older. The hardest decision is whether to be cute, sexy, or dead. Yes dead. Because some people love blood and gore on Halloween.

So how do you decide? You don't. At least not until the last minute. Your costume ideas will change at 40 times and there's no way you're getting around it. Unless you're one of those people who knows what they want in life. Highly unlikely.

All in all, it's a tough decision deciding what to be for Halloween. But don't let the adult act fool you. You'll think you're over choosing costumes because you've grown up until you're invited to a Halloween party, and that's right, it's mandatory to dress up.

But what's your final decision? Cute, sexy, or dead? Stay tuned people, stay tuned.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
