Choose the person who doesn't make you wonder what you could be doing if you weren't with them. The person who makes you not care what else could possibly be out there because you have it all right in front of you. The person that makes you not care about missing that party because you'd rather be with them, doing anything else. The person who you don't care missing out on things for, in fact, it doesn't feel like you're missing out at all.

At the same time, choose the person you can have fun with. If it's one of those days that you do want to go out and have a good time and maybe drink too many vodka cranberries, choose the person that will be right there with you having fun. Choose the person that will take care of you that night. The one who will make sure you get home safe. The one who will help you change into your pajamas no matter how many times you say you want to sleep in your jeans.

Choose the person who doesn't make you wonder if they're serious about you. Choose the one who lets you know how they feel, what their intentions are, or what they see with you. Choose the person who tells you straight up what he or she wants, right now and down the line. Choose the one who knows that he wants to get on one knee for you, or choose the one who knows she wants you at the end of the aisle waiting for her.

Choose the person who doesn't make you wonder what they're doing when it's late at night and you're not with them. The one who tells you exactly what he's doing. The one who you trust enough to believe.

Choose the person that doesn't make you wonder whether or not you want to be with them. The one who you waited for. With all of the shit shows out there that people consider relationships, choose the person who makes you know exactly what you want, and the person who wants the same thing.

Choose the person who doesn't make you wonder if you're good enough. The one who tells you every day that you are important. The one who lets you know that they are thankful to have you in their life.

Choose the person who tells you to let them know when you get home safe. Choose the person who waits to drive away until they know you're in your house. Choose the person who makes you walk on the inside of the sidewalk. Choose the one who can relax you with one touch. Choose the person that you can have fun with on a rainy day, sitting in your house and watching movies. Choose the person who you look for when you're in a crowded room. Choose the one who makes you sure.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
