Chelsea Handler: opinionated, vulgar, bold, beautiful,
funny, ambitious, crude, real role model? Of course! Chelsea Handler is a self-made
women who has risen to the top of the industry by being exactly who she is and
not giving a rats a** about it! She is someone I have always admired and if you
aren’t already sold on her booming personality and dirty humor, I took the time
to dig a little deeper in the hopes you will agree with me by the end of this
article!
1. She sticks up for what she believes in.
Chelsea Handler is not someone to keep her mouth shut. She has beliefs and opinions and wants everyone to know them. You could say that mystery is not one of Chelsea’s strong suits. But this is just another reason why she is such a strong, independent women because she is not afraid of the world and she’s not afraid to be different.
2. She’s not ashamed of who she is.
Chelsea Handler is a 41-year-old, single woman from Jersey without kids and she loves it. She knows that she is the bomb and let’s people know that which I love about her. No matter who you are or where you’re going you need to recognize your worth like Chelsea does.
3. She loves animals more than people.
I have always said, “You can’t trust someone who doesn’t like animals.” And if you disagree with me well, then, you’re wrong. I am a very open minded person but when it comes to the sweet creatures that roam this earth, you have to realize they’re beauty and recognize that they have a purpose on this planet just as important as humans. And Chelsea 100 percent would back me up. Every week on her show she has her dog, Chunk, right by her side and will always bring him up at least once on every episode. Just another reason why Chelsea Handler is a baller.
4. She’s not wishy-washy with her opinions.
If you have seen the show, "Chelsea," on Netflix then you already know that she is full of opinions. Some, most people can agree on -- such as Trump is a loser and dogs are the greatest gifts to this Earth. Some of her opinions may offend certain people -- for example, Chelsea would never have kids or get married. Often on her show she uses the lines, “Kids PSA: They’re Not That Great,” and, “Marriage PSA: You Can Say No.” Yes, these skits could rub people the wrong way but you would never see Handler go back on her word. I can promise you that.
5. She exudes confidence.
Chelsea can recognize herself as a powerful force to be reckoned with. She is the face of a hurricane full of confidence. And I use the term hurricane in the best way possible because when Chelsea is in your presence, (whether it’s in real life or through a TV screen) you know who she is and what she’s about. Confidence is key when dealing with today’s society and Chelsea’s confidence is something everyone should take note on
6. She likes to stay fit and healthy.
Within the past year, Handler has taken her workout routine very seriously. She posts videos and pictures on her social media sites, which in my opinion, promotes healthy living choices from her followers and fan base. And her workouts are paying off big time because she looks fantastic!
7. She has worked hard to get where she is today.
Moving from New Jersey from L.A. at the young age of 19, Handler didn’t kick start her career until she was 26. She waited tables and did stand up comedy until she got her big break on the show, "Girls Behaving Badly." Now, at the age of 41, Handler is an author, TV host, comedian, actress, writer and producer. #girlpower
8. She’s accepting of anyone who deserves it.
Everyone needs to read this point carefully because I said she’s accepting of anyone who deserves it. Handler would never come out and say that we should forgive the police officers that killed innocent people in cold blood and she would never accept the fact that there are people not voting because they don’t want to choose between the evils. But if you have an opinion and have reasons for your opinion and you aren’t a complete idiot, Handler can recognize it and respect it.
9. She has a level head.
As said before, Handler has strong opinions on certain issues. But even with her strong and radical opinions she always seems to maintain a cool, calm and collected attitude. She never blows up and makes herself look like a fool because some people may not agree with her. She simply will just call them something along the lines of a “f***ing idiot,” and will move on with her life because she realizes that not everyone has to have the same opinion as her. And that’s just awesome.
10. She encourages people to have a voice.
With it being election season, Chelsea’s show has been a lot about the candidates. And if you already don’t know, she hates Trump with a passion. (As she should because, let’s get real, he is an ignorant loser) She has been preaching to her audience to go out and have a voice, to have an opinion and to be educated on what is going on in the world. She doesn’t want people to not stand up for what they believe in because that is what makes America great, the fact that we can have an opinion and express it loudly.
11. She’s not afraid to say what she’s thinking.
