1. Donald Trump isn't afraid to say anything.
He has slammed fellow GOP candidates, minorities, and women all within a few months. I don't know about you, but I don't want a president that says everything that comes into his mind to pop right out of his mouth. That could cause too many stir-ups and could result in having our allies turn against us. He's not even president yet, and he's already pissed people off. You really like Trump or you don't. Either way, he is here to stay.
2. Ben Carson is gaining more and more popularity.
Like Trump, he's another Republican candidate who is not originally a politician. He's one of the best neurosurgeons in the United States. Carson was the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins at the head. His open stance on religion, his medical credibility, and his beliefs on our education are superb. Although he seemed to come from nowhere; he is taking the polls by storm. Even with no political background, Carson will be just fine. He's an insanely smart man, so be on the lookout for him.
3. Fiorina is feisty.
Trump seemingly mocked Fiorina's looks in a recent Rolling Stone magazine interview, saying: "Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?" Fiorina shot back: "I am proud of every year and every wrinkle." I'm glad someone isn't afraid to put Trump back into his place and expose him on national television. During both Republican debates, she got an overwhelming amount of applause for some of her comments regarding Trump and Planned Parenthood. Keep an eye on the oh-so-feisty one.
4. Bush is trying to be like the cool kids.
Trying to up his game and votes (or maybe just Trump's antics), Jeb Bush has been branching out from his usual secluded self. He was foreseen to be the leading Republican candidate for this election because of his legacy brethren. Now with Trump stealing the spotlight, Jeb has to really be more assertive and outspoken to be heard over Trump's loud mouth. He plays it very safe, and his family is no stranger to politics or running this country. Bush has a chance; maybe nice guys finish first?
The other Republicans have been fairly quiet and have been playing it rather safe. It will be very interesting to see what happens with the candidates in the upcoming months.
