Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays. I am a Christmas fan all the way – I go all out. My Christmas craze tends to be a little pricey due to all the decorations, presents, Christmas sweaters, hot chocolate etc. Since I try to save money for Christmas, I try not to invest a lot of money in Halloween costumes. Here are some of my favorite and cheapest Halloween costume ideas.
1. Any type of animal.
Even though this one is pretty basic, it’s extremely easy. All you have to do is purchase the ears of that animal and then color coordinate you outfit to replicate the animal. There are a lot of ways one can go with this costume choice.
2. Risky Business.
It’s simple – borrow a white button down shirts from a boyfriend, older brother, guy friend etc. Then just wear knee high socks and dark sunglasses.
3. A vampire.
All you need for this costume is all black clothes and a stick of red lipstick. You can use the red lipstick to draw blood on you. There is also the option of adding fake vampire teeth, but in all honesty they are really uncomfortable and not worth it. Also, put your own style into it.
4. Easy A.
If you have seen the movie you know exactly what I am talking about. All you have to do is wear black and pin a red A to your outfit. It does not get any easier!
5. A Snapchat filter.
This idea is both fun and creative! Just go on your phone, open your Snapchat app and look through the filters! You will be surprised how easy it is to mimic these filters and turn them into Halloween costumes. For example, theres the flower head filter. Buy a flower crown and then wear all black with a snapchat code taped to your shirt.
6. A Clown.
This is one of the easiest and cheapest costume of all. All you have to do is go to your local goodwill and buy an FSU shirt for a dollar. Done. You will look like the biggest fool of all.
