I never really got the hype over "One Tree Hill" until about two years ago. I could never understand why the show was so big, or why so many people watched it, but then I did. I started watching the show on Netflix and quickly became obsessed. I finished all nine seasons in a little over a month, and now, two years later, I'm watching the series all over again because I can't stop thinking about the show or the characters.

Let me tell you, the people on this show will ruin your life. In the best way possible, of course.

Brooke Davis teaches us that, no matter what we do, people are going to label others.

Brooke is also a great role model for young women. She talks about how hard it is to be female in a society built to raise men up.

And she also shows us that it's important to value yourself for who you are.

Brooke and Peyton show us how important it is to have that one, really special best friend in your life to be there for you when things get rough.

Peyton Sawyer teaches us that actions really do speak louder than words.

She shows us that we shouldn't take the people or moments we have for granted.

And that if we really want something, we should go after it.

Nathan Scott teaches us to embrace the crazy.

And to never give up on our dreams, no matter what's standing in our way.

Whitey provides words of wisdom to let us know not to waste the time that we have.

Dan Scott shows that even the worst people have the ability to change for the better.

Hayley James-Scott knows that women sometimes let men dictate whether they are happy or not, and that that's not the way it should be.

Karen Roe taught us to never stop believing in ourselves.

Jamie Scott knows, even as a little kid, that the best thing we can do is to just try our hardest.

And, of course, Lucas Scott showed us that everyone has some good in them; you just have to take a minute to find it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
