As far as animals go, cats often get a bad rap for things. People assume they're all angry douche bags, but there's more to most cats than meets the eye. Just as each human you meet will be unique, each breed of cat has a unique personality. Find which breed of cat you and your friends are. You may even find that you're a mix of all of them.

1. Scottish Fold

Where are their ears? Probably the same place they left their common sense. This breed constantly looks like it doesn't know quite what hit it. Life kiddo. Toughen up. They're pretty innocent for the most part, but don't ask too many hard questions. Their smol brain literally might explode. Their personality is no excuse for cruelty though. To be mean to a Scottish Fold is to "kill a mockingbird".

2. Siberian Cat

This breed of cat is unique and majestic. They do their own thing and don't really care who's watching. This cat stays true to their personality and are effortlessly original. Watch out if you start to talk about something they like though because they will go from overwhelmingly apathetic to eagerly invested at the drop of a hat. These are the innocent and perfect furbabies you want in your life. They devil may care, but these cats usually don't.

3. Munchkin Cat

The munchkin cat is the smol person in your life. Somehow a body so tiny and cute is able to contain the fierceness of a thousand warriors. If you meet a munchkin cat, make sure to stock up on energy drinks because they literally never sleep. They have an unending store of energy and will bring much joy to your life. Be careful though, don't take their cuteness for a desire to be hugged and squeezed.

4. Japanese Bobtail

No offense but you kind of suck. You think you're unique and edgy, but really you are the follower of the pack and have no tail to speak of. You probably like to remind people just how unique you are because of it as well. These cats have lots of opinions that they think are unpopular, but really no one else cares either way. They'll fight you on anything. If you decide to take them up on it, however, be prepared to lose despite their insufficient evidence and illogical argument. Their stubbornness will trump you every time.

5. Russian Blue

Russian Blues are the type of person you'll find shopping for Juul pods on any given day. Their life is kind of falling apart, but they do it with style. This cat gets easily hyped about hanging out, but just as easily deterred if a different activity is mentioned. You might think they're a little crazy, and to be honest, they are. When you find a Russian Blue that wants to be your friend, though, don't take it lightly. They may be flakey sometimes, but they don't take friendship as a joke.

6. Grumpy Cat

You are grumpy. You are a cat. You hate everything.

7. Calico

If you don't come from a town of calico's, you'll meet one by the time you get to college. They're typically from a small town and about as basic as it gets. They probably lived in the suburbs, were in the top ten of their class, and are destined to end up driving a Honda Odyssey with 2.5 kids. True-bred Calicos may not be the most interesting of cats, but they make a true and dependable friend.

8. Siamese Cat

High maintenance is the first word that comes to mind about this personality type. They think they're a little bit higher up than everyone else, but usually don't voice those opinions. They pride themselves in their looks and hang with a close circle of friends. They may or may not be the recipient of a large trust fund, but aren't flashy about their money in a gaudy way. They're elegant, but can be a bit of a snob.

9. Sphynx

A person whose looks are not their first priority, the sphynx cat in your life is going to be your most loyal friend. They value the important things like personality and loyalty, but can still clean up well if the time calls for it. They're intellectual and likely to have old soul wisdom at quite a young age. Not a bad cat to have by your side.

Whatever cat breed you may meet walking down the street, just remember that all breeds of cats and humans deserve to be loved, regardless of how closely they may resemble a Japanese Bobtail. Now I challenge you to go out and find yourself a fur baby (human or feline) and never let go.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
