"I wish I had more Polaroid film to provide a visual for this moment, but that's what this very journal is for, to document. My day started at 6:20am, waking up with Catfish and the Bottlemen in my head in the back of my camper overlooking Pipes [beach] in Cardiff. Louie and I set up camp and made coffee and pancakes for breakfast; vittles with an overcast view of the Pacific. Check your developed film, I grabbed a couple of negatives. Now we're going to skate and shoot in Leucadia I think."

Original journal entry, regarding a short overnight camping trip in an urban setting, but at a lookout spot with a view of the ocean. Not mentioned in the text is my appreciation for fellowship and the short reprieve this trip offered. These kinds of therapies are important.
