Call Me Karizma: Upcoming Artist To Look Out For
Adriadna Ramirez

I had the chance on February 24, 2017 to see Call Me Karizma who is an up and coming artist. The show was fantastic but let me start off with some facts and then I’ll get into the details about the show itself.

I first heard about Call Me Karizma when he was an opening act for The Summer Set back in 2016. When I first heard, him sing, I was a little apprehensive but listening to the lyrics and realizing this is what exactly what I needed was amazing. My mom who attended the show as well even applauded him with how he acted on stage and how interactive he was.

It was easy to learn the lyrics to the songs he sang and to feel the energy he was giving off. I knew in that moment that it was not going to be the last time I heard of Call Me Karizma.

The very next day after the show I found and listened to all of his music at the time. I fell in love! F U Till I F U will really hit you in the heart strings if you are trying to get over an ex or even just dealing with some sort of relationship issues.

I followed Call me Karizma as more music came out from him. I Still Love You hit me in the heart strings with past loves and relationships with past loves and relationships and Riz as his fans call him being the same old Riz.

I finally got the chance after a failed attempt in October to see him live in February of 2017. I was jumping around like a five year old on Christmas. Riz announced on Twitter that anyone who bought a ticket even if it was a VIP, he would at least meet them and give them a hug. Totally made me the happiest person ever. My eyes grew big and I shook my boyfriend as he laughed about how much I fangirled.

It is beautiful in my eyes to be a fan of an artist who took time out of his busy life, to meet fans after the show. He smiled for every picture and hugged everyone and signed every autograph that he was asked of.

Riz himself, is a fantastic performer. You can tell the love and the passion he has for his music and his fans who are singing along to every word. I myself, felt so much at home singing along to music that changed my life.

The moment he started singing F U Till I F U, my heart sunk and I sang as loud as I could. Hearing the lyrics, “I’m gonna love you forever. That’s just my curse it’s whatever.” Made me almost cry. Those are lyrics that have resonated with me ever since I heard the song the first time. Hearing it live was magical.

What I personally love about Riz is that he is so faithful and he stands up for what he believes in. He is an advocate for mental health. He speaks out about it constantly and isn’t afraid of the reactions he gets. It brings me so much joy knowing someone who is gaining fame can bring some much needed attention to this issue.

After reading his tweets about it, he became my hero. I look up to him because he cares about everyone’s mental health and he tries to be there for his fans. He always reaches out to his fans also just to make sure they are loved because they deserve it. Riz told us at the show to never change because we are beautiful and we can do whatever we want to do.

I personally recommend going to check out his music. He has a new EP out called EMO. He also has more music on iTunes and Soundcloud that is worth checking out.

Call Me Karizma is something worth checking out. One day he is going to become huge. He is an inspiration and a hero to everyone and anyone so go check him out on your free time!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
