Dear Bruno Mars,

To put it simply, I love you. Your Motown music style and perfectly coiffed hair always leaves my heart fluttering.

Uptown Funk will always be my jam, and your Super Bowl Halftime show from 2013 is one of my favorite shows of all time.

How, wonderful man, do you make two wonderfully beautiful albums, that I still find myself jamming to years after they been released. (Yes, I still dramatically sing "Grenade" in my car, and dance to "Marry You" and watch hundreds of proposal videos using that song - okay maybe I tear up sometimes. It's just really cute, okay?)


I love good choreography and theatrics like any other millennial, but something about the way you rock out when performing gives me goosebumps. I love a good show, but when you put on a concert, I just about die of happiness. (Again, why your Super Bowl halftime show might be a constant on my YouTube "Recently Viewed" list.)

Thank you for bringing a new vibe to the music world. Watching you sing on TV is like a treat - it feels like you want to make every person in the audience feel special. There's a reason that your audiences have people ranging from young teenagers, to people in their 30s or 40s. You make everyone feel special, and everyone wants to be a part of the experience. It's a new kind of concert experience, that hasn't been seen in years.

Thank you for giving us the kind of music that everyone can relate to. "Just The Way You Are" is the perfect song for a pick-me-up when confidence is running low. "Uptown Funk" is the perfect song to dance around your room singing into a hairbrush. "The Lazy Song" is the perfect song for making you feel better about being unproductive. "When I Was Your Man" is a great song for when you wanna be emotional, but aren't quite sure how to express it.

Thank you for always being my go-to artist. Whether I'm at the gym and need a good cardio song, or I'm alone in my room singing into my hairbrush, you never fail to get me into good mood, and boy, do I treasure you. (See what I did there?)
