Let's be honest, concerts at Brick are a great excuse to go out...
On a Wednesday night.
1. Sam Hunt (Review).
Sam Hunt is always a crowd-pleaser in Ox. He has raw talent. "Cop Car" is one of his most popular hits, as it was covered by Keith Urban - but Sam does it better. He is definitely on the right track to making it big. Sam Hunt is the nicest guy and genuinely cares about his fans. Plus he is super hot, which is an added bonus. As most sorority girls know, he is known for having intimate and smaller concerts for groups prior to the show.
2.Dan + ShayOctober 29th.
"19 You + Me" is their biggest hit. A lot of people say their recordings do not do them justice for how good they are live. Definitely worth going to. These two go back to classical duets and have made quite a splash for just starting in 2013. The tickets are cheap, which is great for those unfamiliar to them.
3. Ty Dolla $ignNovember 7th.
This rapper is a Wiz Khalifa protege with Taylor Gang Records. "Or Nah" is one of his biggest features. He brings a new flavor to the singing-rapping combination. He just released his new album in August, working with some big names in the industry. I recommend checking his album out prior to buying tickets.
4. Timeflies November 12th.
Throwback to freshman year. Timeflies is a guaranteed good time, their music appeals to a large variety of people. "Monsters" is one of their newest hits from their new album and it is awesome. We have high hopes that they preform most of the songs from their new album. Get a group together because this is a show you do not want to miss.
5. B.o.B with Kevin Gates November 17th.
Tickets to this show sold out within minutes. We all know you have "Headbandz," "Ray Bans," or "Out of My Mind" somewhere on your pre-game playlist. B.o.B might not be for everyone but he knows how to preform. As for Kevin Gates, a rapper signed to Atlantic records, you may have heard him with "Arm & Hammer". The two should be a good balance between two very different ends of rap.
6. Cole Swindell December 3rd
Thank goodness you can wear cowboy boots, jeans, and a flannel to this December show. Cole Swindell is a good send off as one of the last performers of first semester. Do you like country music? Go to this show. Cole Swindell has been to Brick before, "Chillin' it" is always a crowd favorite.
