Breakups. They’re an inevitable part of life, and if you haven’t gone through one yet, consider yourself lucky. Though it’s true that time heals all wounds, there’s still some hope out there for all of you experiencing the pains of getting over someone right now. Luckily for us, music makes everything better. I mean, thank God there's a song for literally every emotion, am I right? The list below is sectioned off based on what I consider the three major breakup stages: Grief, Anger, and Acceptance. And really, no matter which part (if any) you're in, these are just good songs to listen to when you're feeling especially moody, sassy, or single. (Caution: the anger section is a little, well, angry. I apologize in advance for all F-bombs).

1. Grief - Those two weeks when you won't do anything except cry, eat, and drink.

“Behind These Hazel Eyes” by Kelly Clarkson

Here I am, once again

I'm torn into pieces

Can't deny it, can't pretend

Just thought you were the one

“Habits” by Tove Lo

Spend my days locked in a haze

Trying to forget you babe

I fall back down

Gotta stay high all my life

To forget I'm missing you

“Hold Up” by Beyonce

Can't you see there's no other man above you?

What a wicked way to treat the girl that loves you

“i hate u i love u” by Gnash feat. Olivia O'Brien

I miss you when I can't sleep

Or right after coffee

Or right when I can't eat

I miss you in my front seat

Still got sand in my sweaters

From nights we don't remember

Do you miss me like I miss you?

2. Anger - When you remember how fabulous you are, and how dare they?

“I Don’t F*** With You” by Big Sean

I got a million trillion things I’d rather f****** do

Than to f*** with you

“F U” by Miley Cyrus

I got a lot of nasty things flowing up in my head

But none of them are worth my time

You're not even worth this rhyme

And I don't, I don't give a flying

“Mama’s Broken Heart” by Miranda Lambert

I cut my bangs with some rusty kitchen scissors

I screamed his name ‘til the neighbors called the cops

I numbed the pain at the expense of my liver

Don’t know what I did next, all I know I couldn’t stop

“Sorry” by Beyonce

Middle fingers up

Put them hands high

Wave it in his face

Tell 'em boy bye

“Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift

Did you think we'd be fine? Still got scars on my back from your knife

So don't think it's in the past, these kinda wounds they last and they last.

Now did you think it all through? All these things will catch up to you

And time can heal but this won't, so if you're coming my way, just don't

3. Acceptance - When you just really don't want to waste your time on them anymore.

“Jar of Hearts” by Christina Perri

You're gonna catch a cold

From the ice inside your soul

So don't come back for me

Who do you think you are?

“It Don’t Hurt Like it Used To” by Billy Currington

Hey, hey, what can I say?

I can just lie and say it's all okay

Oh-ho, what can I do?

Been goin' through Hell gettin' over you

But it don't hurt, it don't hurt like it used to

Somewhere on a Beach” by Dierks Bentley

I'm somewhere on a beach

Sipping something strong

Got a new girl, she got it going on

"Gives You Hell" by The All-American Rejects

Tomorrow you'll be thinking to yourself

Where'd it all go wrong?

But the list goes on and on

And truth be told I miss you

And truth be told I'm lying

“Send My Love to Your New Lover” by Adele

Send my love to your new lover

Treat her better

We've gotta let go of all of our ghosts

We both know we ain't kids no more

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
