When you think about it, your daily life is basically defined by what you do in between meals. Well, not that specifically. But meals are the essential guiding points around our lives. Thank goodness for that because food is everything.
Younger-minded me, mainly in middle school, hated the fact that I had to eat as early as 7:30 in the morning. I mean, I just woke up, I just brushed my teeth... why do I need food so early?
I don't know whether it's the college inspired Sunday brunches with friends, me being hungry all the time now that I'm away at college, or the ever-growing fads of taking photographs of every possible thing you eat to make it look artsy... but I do know that I am now a lover of breakfast and brunch.
First of all, you can have breakfast food at ANY time of the day. An egg-white omelette with tomatoes, mushrooms, and a bit of mozzarella? A cup of steel-cut oats with berries and shaved almonds? A steaming cup of hot coffee with a pancake or two? PLEASE count me in on that.

Second of all, how boring is regular food. Seriously, how many times can you eat a salad with whatever condiments and whatever protein (chicken is so meh for the fourth time in a day). Also, sandwiches bother me. And there's too many decisions to make. I'm good with some eggs, but thanks though!
Third of all, how dang pretty does breakfast look compared to dinner??? I mean, come on. Square up, dinner. My breakfast plate can kick your butt in that instagram-like contest we have going on.
Fourth of all, there are so many options. So many. And many memories can be made over going out for brunch on a Sunday morning. And all of the pictures that come from eating breakfast are so so nice.

And last but not least, fifth of all...
