Dear boy who feels entitled to a woman's body,

You slid into those DM's and, mistakenly, they were opened. What we were hoping was going to be a friendly "how's it going?" turned into the usual, "nudes?"

What goes through your head while you're sending that message?

While you are scrolling through your Instagram feed, liking pictures from "Bar-stool" and seeing your buddies going to concerts and your ex posting a hot selfie making you regret cheating on her, you find a girl you follow, but have never talked to. Why is your first thought, "I'm going to ask her to send me nudes"?

What would make you think a woman, who has never spoken to you before a day in her life, would want to send you nude pictures of HER body?

The curiosity of these questions never get answered. Mainly due to the fact that, a boy like yourself, will never admit to the fact that for whatever reason, you feel entitled to receive said pictures from whatever female of your choosing. Well here's what I would like you to know, entitled boy...

You are not entitled to shit.

Just because you send her a message, doesn't mean she has to send you anything in return, let alone a nude photograph. Just because she is a model, doesn't mean she has to send you pictures. Just because she is a stripper, doesn't mean she has to send you pictures. Just because she laughs (sarcastically mind you) at you asking for her to send nude pictures, does not mean she has to send you pictures.

If you compliment her, she doesn't owe you pictures. You asking for pictures, is not a compliment. That doesn't flatter her. That doesn't turn her on. That doesn't make her want you. In fact, it makes her appalled by you. Disgusted that she even decided to open that message, from a strange boy she had never met before.

You do not own her. You do not even know her. She does not know you. Even if you did know her, there would be no reason on this entire earth, for her to have to owe you pictures of herself. She does not owe you anything.

You are measly just a boy. Just a boy trapped in what appears to be a man's body, but with no concept of what morals a real man would possess.

The next time you decide, you want to ask a random girl (or ANY girl for that matter) for nude photographs...ask yourself these questions:

-Would I want my sister to get this message from a stranger?

-Would I want my mother to get this message from a stranger?

-Would my mother want me sending this message to a stranger?

-Would I want my future daughter, getting a message like this from a stranger?

While, I would hope that those messages would sink into your head for you to realize why you shouldn't be doing it, I'm sure they won't. Because unfortunately...
