A Thank You Letter To My Boyfriend

First off, I want to thank you for making me laugh since the first day I met you and for always being my best friend. When we first met I wasn't looking for a boyfriend and I surely wasn't expecting to feel the way I do about you. From the first day we met we have made endless memories and along the way you have done so much for me sometimes I am overwhelmed thinking I will never be able to repay you.

I want to thank you for being so understanding. I know my stubbornness and overly sassy attitude is sometimes ... well a little much to say the least. Thank you for understanding I am always grumpy in the mornings, even if I slept in until noon. For knowing that when I'm sad sometimes I don't feel like talking yet, but a slurpie will always help. For always understanding me sometimes better than I understand myself.

Thank you for being you and for always appreciating me for who I really am. Thank you for being weird so that I can be even weirder. You fill me with confidence on my worst days and make me feel on top of the world just by loving me for me. There are so many big things about our relationship that I love and so many huge things you do for me that I will be forever grateful for but there are so many little things that make me even more thankful.

Thank you for letting me show you all my new makeup after I get back from shopping and sitting down and actually taking the time to look at it just because you know it means a lot to me.

Thank you for laying around with me all day watching endless episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Criminal Mind" even though you hate those shows.

Thank you for chasing Pokémon with me for endless hours. We are kind of nerdy.

Thank you for waking up at 3 a.m. to drive me to the airport. Just because you would do anything for me.

Thank you for letting me talk about my new book that I am obsessed with ... even if I never stop talking.

Thank you for taking care of me when I am sick even if it means waking up all through the night to check my temperature.

Thank you for letting me be a little part of your family and for loving my family as much as I do.

Thank you for everything from taking me on drives when you know it will calm me down to simply being everything I need in one human being. I am forever grateful for everything you have done for me and I honestly do not know how I got so lucky.

Lastly, thank you for being you.
