I still remember the first time we met, little did I know with our first encounter that you would end up meaning so much to me.

They say when you meet the one, the forever, you just somehow know. It suddenly hits you and you're like yup this is it. Others say you start to fall slowly, then all at once, it hits you.

You get me, and life with you this past year has been an adventure, to say the least. You've seen me both at my worst and at my best. You know about my past and love me anyway. Not only that, but you've taught me what it truly means to love someone and how to love them for all they are. You know me inside and out, when I'm upset, angry, happy, and everything in between.

It's crazy to think we've only been together for a year because it feels so much longer than that.

When I think back to the first time we met, I didn't know how much of an impact you would have on me and I found you when I wasn't even looking, which is the best part. I made a promise to myself that my next relationship would be my last, little did I know what that would mean. You're my other half, you showed me that love is in the things you do and not what you say.

Sometimes you meet a person and just click, for us that is exactly what happened. I don't have to pretend to be anyone or anything I'm not when I'm with you.

Thank you for coming into my life. And for making me smile and laugh like crazy. And for being my absolute favorite person in the world. And my biggest cheerleader. And for inspiring me to accept myself, good or bad. And last but not least, for making me really and truly happy.

I love you so much.
