A Tribute: B.o.B's Greatness, Told Through 12 Of His Most Memorable Quotes

Since he made his debut in 2008 with his album "Who the F#*ck is B.o.B," his music has gone from somewhat normal, relatable rap, to preaching conspiracy theories. It seems appropriate that he would end his reign of fame in 2018 just 10 years after his debut. So, as a tribute to his 10 years of musical service, hare are 12 of his most memorable quotes.

This one's for you, Cam.

1. When he gave great fashion advice.

"You have to feel good in what you're wearing; if you don't feel good it's not going to look good. You ever see someone wear something that's crazy and say, 'That's so crazy!' But they look good in it, because they feel good in it - you can just tell." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

2. When he helped the world understand the difference between rap and rock.

"Rap is something you can just throw on the skillet and fry up real quick. That's how it comes to me, my train of thought. It's like getting dressed - I don't have to sit down and stare at clothes, I just pick what I like and put it on. But rock, you gotta put it in the oven and let it bake." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

3. He's always encouraging people to learn more.

"A lot of people are turned off by the phrase 'flat earth' … but there's no way u can see all the evidence and not know… grow up" — B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016

4. His low-key support of Taylor Swift.

"If you break up with your partner, go straight to the studio. You're going to make great music." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

5. He believes in the power of truth.

"No matter how high in elevation you are… the horizon is always eye level … sorry cadets… I didn't wanna believe it either."— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016

6. And he shared his opinion about rock music.

"I like rock music because it's always sonically fascinating. There's never a method to what it needs to sound like. It's just however that instrument comes out that day, whatever the humidity level was in the air, what studio you were at. All that makes that tone that you can't re-create, so each song is like a person." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

7. He cares deeply about his fellow celebrities.

"When a celebrity in great health suddenly suffered a stroke, heart attack, aneurism = cloning center" — B.o.B (@bobatl) December 6, 2015

8. Don't know what to wear? Add a watch.

"When you have a watch on, it just sets everything off. It's the icing on the cake when it comes to your entire look." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

9. He does the research so we don't have to.

"These alien abductions aren't a part of a "hybrid-program" involving aliens... it's actually connected to the cloning centers" — B.o.B (@bobatl) January 8, 2016

10. He taught us not to care about what others think.

"I do what I want. It's because I got booed and picked on that I really don't care anymore." — B.o.B (BrainyQuote)

11. When he comments on the younger generation.

"You could put anything in a mason jar and ppl would love it... you could put oppression is a mason jar and sell it." — B.o.B (@bobatl) February 28, 2018

12. Finally, he gave us some inspirational words to live by.

"If you knew you were an infinite being you wouldn't be in survival mode" — B.o.B (@bobatl) February 16, 2018

In all seriousness, though the general public might not always understand his thought process (myself included), B.o.B has created ten years of exceptional and passionate music. Thanks for being you, Bobby Ray.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
