Has anyone else ever had a bladder sister? Or hey, even a bladder brother. You know the ones who always have to go pee at the exact same time you do. On road trips or vacations of any kind, it is very important to have a bladder sister with you.
If you are like me who constantly has to use the restroom, it is very important to have a bladder sister because they don’t judge you, and they don’t get annoyed of you going to the restroom…again - because they are right behind you making a line right outside the little girls’ room. You no longer feel embarrassed having to go use the restroom every couple of hours because now you have a back-up, and it is harder to gang up on two people than it is to one.
You hear the “You have to use the restroom again!” or “I literally just stopped, can’t you just hold it” or even “You should get that checked” a little less often with a bladder sister by you. You no longer have to lie where you are going every time you leave the room. All those “ I need to go blow my nose” or “ I am going to check my hair” or even “ I have to send a message, and I just happen to have better reception in the restroom,” ok maybe not the last one, but definitely the other two will be a thing of the past.
I am lucky to have two bladder sisters. Now I don’t have a bladder infection if that is what you are thinking. I am capable of not using the restroom for hours, I just chose not to do that most of the time. The thing is, I want to be safe. For example, if I am on a road trip and we stop for gas, you better start unbuckling your seatbelt if I am in the middle because you best believe I will be in that restroom. I don’t know when the next rest stop will be so I rather be safe and use it then. If I am at school, I usually go right before class starts.
That is usually for two reasons. One being that I don’t want to miss anything in class, especially if I really like it, or if I struggle with it. Two, because I am bored and don’t have anything else to do. I really hate the feeling of needing to use the restroom but not being able to go. You fear coughing, sneezing, sometimes even moving in order not to pee your pants. You start to fantasize about a restroom and picture what it is like to relieve that pressure you feel inside you. Fantasizing about restrooms is not how I like to spend my time.
You sometimes hear that those friends you grew up with will be friends with you forever. Or that your sorority sisters will be your sisters for life. If you ask me, there is no tighter bond than the one between two bladder Sister. You literally share a connection on another level. Now stop reading this and go find yourself a bladder sister.
