Blackberry has always been the phone company that still uses a keyboard for their phones. Blackberry has always be known to be a business phone, rather than a day-to-day phone like an Iphone or a Samsung Galaxy, but Blackberry has recently came out with another phone that has shocked the industry. Blackberry has created their first ever android, Blackberry Priv, and it will be running on Googles Android OS (the phone will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is unknown if it will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow after its official release).
The Blackberry Priv will be different from other androids today. Today an android just consists of a touchscreen, a home button (a few other functionality buttons depending on company), and the power and volume button. But the Blackberry Priv consists of not just a touch screen where you can play games, text and watch your favorite TV shows in ease, but as well as a keyboard. The Blackberry Priv is a phone where the old meets the new.
The Priv has a dual-curved screen, a battery life of 22.5 hours, a front and back camera, amazing sound quality and of course a touch keyboard and a physical keyboard. This phone is a slider phone, so for anyone who misses sliding their phones up and down from back in the day than this is the perfect phone for you. The sad part is that this phone only comes in one color….black. But that is okay because there are different colored cases for this phone to make it look pretty.
The release date for this amazing new Blackberry will be in early November; but starting October 23, 2015 people will be able to pre-order the phone. The cost of the phone is the big downside of it. As a matter of fact it cost more than the Iphone at an astounding price of $700.
