Every single day we sin. Every single day we forgive. Every single day we change. As time goes on, we learn more about ourself and what kind of people we want to be. We have free will, and it is our decision how we live and who we are. No matter where you are in life, there will be days when you feel lost and out of place. For a little comfort and encouragement, you can always turn to God. Here are some Bible verses that may help you find comfort and solace:
1. "And don't give the devil an opportunity." (Ephesians 4:27 HCSB)
2. "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 HCSB)
3. "So now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming." (1 John 2:28 HCSB)
4. "The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked." (1 John 2:6 HCSB)
5. "He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world." (1 John 2:2 HCSB)
6. "I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 HCSB)
7. "Let all that you do be done with love." (1 Corinthians 16:14 NKJV
)8. "The pure in heart are blessed, for they will see God." (Matthew 5:8 HCSB)
9. "And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken". (Ecclesiastes 4:12 HCSB)
10. "For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly." (Romans 5:6 HCSB)
11. "So don’t be afraid therefore; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:31 HCSB)
12. “Sitting across from the temple treasury, He watched how the crowd dropped money into the treasury. Many rich people were putting in large sums. And a poor widow came and dropped in two tiny coins worth very little. Summoning His disciples, He said to them, “I assure you: This poor widow has put in more than all those giving to the temple treasury. For they all gave out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she possessed — all she had to live on.” (Mark 12:41-44 HCSB)
We may think we can fight our own battles, but sometimes we need a little help from the man upstairs! There is always a whole book of love from our Lord. Do not be afraid to turn to someone with more strength than you to help you through life. We have a Heavenly Father for many reasons.
