Dear Friend,
Where do I begin? Well, it has been approximately 20 years now. Twenty years of laughing, crying, and a bunch of other crazy memories with you. I will never forget the day we met: at our grandma's houses, playing in the backyards. From that day on, I knew you'd be a big part of my life. In the past years we have known each other, it's been a crazy time. Whether it's our traditions, like Black Friday shopping, or now double dates, we are always making memories. There is never a dull moment with you. Vacation, prom, senior ball, and walking across the stage, are just a few of the accomplishments you and I are able to say we did together. Soon it will be college graduation, getting married, and starting families. Here we are, entering our 20's, planning our weddings, and picking out dresses for each other. Time really does fly.
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on and my junk-food eating partner. You have always been there for me, never judging me on the mistakes I have made, or the stupid things I say. I will always be grateful to have you in my life, and I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you for welcoming me into another crazy Italian family. Whenever I come over, it feels like I'm right at home. Your parents treat me like another daughter, and I will always call you guys family. Literally, when I say family, people think we are sisters. I will always be known as the little sister. We think alike, act alike, and basically talk like sisters, so why not just say we are?!
They say after high school, you find out who your true friends are. Let me tell you, you are definitely one of those friends. You are an amazing individual. You are so smart, dedicated, beautiful, and ah, I could go on! You make me strive to be the best I can be, and with that I thank you. Your kind heart and gentle personality make you a one-of-a-kind person. I hope everyone is lucky enough to have a friend like you because I am very blessed.
Thank you for being my best friend. I wouldn't trade you for the world.
With love,
Al Pal
