I heard Francis Chan mention once that a wise person shared with him that he woke up each morning and told himself, "Today is going to best day of my life." With that mentality, he positively lived each day as if it was the best day of his life. Now, I challenge you to look back at the previous years in your life: the people you met, friendships that flourished, wonderful memories and opportunities.

How can you enter this new year and live life excited for each day as if it is going to be better than the prior day? In other words, what opportunities can you seize or people will you spend time with that allow you to live today more vibrantly than yesterday? Open your eyes to the world around you, and live like this year and this day is the best time of your life. Enjoy the present.
