Cleanse Your Body

Cleansing your body is a way to support your health and overall well-being. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be challenging. Although your body has a natural detoxifying system, there are ways you can help.

You can develop healthy habits and incorporate natural ways to stay healthy and feel better. Help your body eliminate toxins and promote good health with simple natural foods. Here are some beneficial ways to cleanse your body to make you feel fantastic.

Exercise

Exercise is a great way to help relieve toxins from your body. In addition to making you sweat, it supports your liver and kidney's oxygen levels. Bike riding, swimming, dancing, walking and jogging are all great ways to get your heart rate up and help your body release toxins. Stored body fat also contains toxins, and you can support healthy levels of body fat when exercising regularly.

Drink Tea

Having a cup of tea daily is an excellent way to help your body fight off toxins. Tea contains chemical compounds such as polyphenols or flavonoids that act as antioxidants to help control the damaging effects of free radicals in your body. You can find teas that contain certain herbs like dandelion and flavors like peppermint. Tea provides many benefits to maintaining your health. For instance, you can drink a detox tea supplement that is used in herbal medicine to help treat digestive upset.

Limit Sugar and Processed Food

A healthy diet helps stabilize your body and blood sugar levels. You can support heart health when your diet is free from excess sugar and chemically processed food. You can optimize your blood circulation, which will support your liver to help your body get rid of the toxins in your body. You will benefit from a diet rich in nutrients and anti-inflammatory foods.

Exfoliate Your Body

Dry-brushing your skin is a natural way to exfoliate your skin to brush off toxins. You can use a soft brush to rub your skin before you take a bath or shower. Exfoliation helps your body sweat, which allows toxins to flow through your lymphatic system. It will help optimize your blood circulation and can leave your skin glowing as it's allowed it to breathe. It will benefit you to do this daily.

Drink Water

Drinking water does more for your body than quenching your thirst. Our bodies are 70% water; when you adequately hydrate your body, it flushes out waste. It lubricates your joints, reduces hunger and maintains energy levels. In addition, water is essential for detoxifying your skin, kidneys and bowels. Your kidneys remove waste products from your blood and process water-soluble toxins from your liver. Drinking plenty of water is vital to your body to maintain overall health.

Get Proper Sleep

Sound sleep significantly supports your body's health and natural detoxification system. It allows your brain to recharge and eliminate waste byproducts that can build up during the day. Sleeping 7 to 9 hours will help you maintain your healthy lifestyle. If you have trouble sleeping, try limiting blue light before bed and sticking to a consistent sleep schedule. Training your mind to require a sleep routine is a great way to maintain a regular pattern.

Eat Lots of Fruits and Vegetables

Fruits and vegetables that contain vitamins A, C, and E are naturally high in antioxidants and can help fight oxidative stress related to toxins in your body. Foods high in antioxidants include berries, kale, cabbage, swiss chard, spinach and beets, which are readily available. In addition to helping to cleanse your body, these foods provide essential nutrients your body needs to maintain your health and well-being.

It is natural for your body to flush out toxins and waste. However, you can assist in cleansing your body to encourage your lymphatic system to work at its full potential. Cleansing by lowering the number of toxins in your body can help you support your health and optimize your energy levels.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
