Summer is almost here, and whether you're going on vacation, driving down to the beach, Barbecuing in the sun, or even commuting to school and work, you'll need the perfect summer playlist that will help you soak up the sun and enhance your overall summer experience. But don't worry, I've got you covered. I went ahead and put together the ultimate playlist that will help brighten your day and provide you with that summertime feel no matter where you choose to go this summer. You can listen to the complete list here, but first, here are some of the must-have songs that you need to have on your playlist this summer:

1. Hundred Water, Skrillex remix "Show Me Love (feat. Chance The Rapper, Moses Sumney, and Robin Hannibal)"

This is my 2016 summer anthem.

2. Sugar Ray, "Fly" (feat. Super Cat)

The trickled down guitar riff and reggae fusion provide a mellow tune that will have you feeling as if you were on vacation.

3. Miguel, "Waves"

This is one of those songs that you blast out of your car while heading to the beach.

4. Dirty Heads, "Lay Me Down (feat. Rome)"

Perfect for trips down to the beach and makes you want to lay in the sand.

5. Shwayze, "Corona And Lime" & "Buzzin"

Both of these are a must when it comes to beach music.

6. 311, "Amber"

The reggae influence is evident in this very mellow and soothing song. It is perfect for anytime of the day and it is extremely catchy.

7. Slightly Stoopid, "2 a.m."

You might not be able to understand what they are saying but this catchy reggae song will have you mumbling every word to the best of your ability.

8. Bob Marley, Various Songs

You can't go wrong with Bob Marley. Listening to Bob Marley in the summer is a given.

9. Vic Mensa, "Down On My Luck"

This contagious dance infused rap song is the perfect way to show off your moves in the summer.

10. GoldLink, "Palm Trees"

Drawing inspiration from Alina Baraz's, "Fantasy", GoldLink creates a worry-free ballad with a incredibly catchy hook that screams summertime.

11. Alina Baraz, "Fantasy"

This memorizing melody will help put you in a completely relaxed and carefree mood

12. Weezer, "Island In The Sun"

This will have you wanting to take a stoll on the beach while the sun sets.

13. Jason Mraz, "I'm Yours"

This reggae-tinged hit will have you singing every word of the entire song and will have you wanting to go somewhere tropical immediately.

14. 2Pac, "I Get Around"

This is the perfect song to dance to while you're by the pool or barbecue grill.

15. Kendrick Lamar, "The Recipe" (feat. Dr. Dre)

If California could have a theme song, this would be it. This is a California summertime anthem.

16. Sublime, Various Songs

There are too many song to name. You can literally put all of their songs because they all have that summertime feel to them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
