My family recently went on a vacation to Las Vegas and since fashion is so important to me, the thing I was looking forward to most was shopping on and off the Strip. I’m the girl that watches livestream fashion shows from New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks so being in Vegas was a dream come true because every designer imaginable has a store on the Las Vegas Stip. I was most excited to find out that there was a Saint Laurent Paris boutique near my hotel, but then realized that I probably didn’t have the courage to step foot in the boutique. I proved myself wrong and actually went into it. It was so exciting to actually visit my favorite designer label's boutique and even though I went in it the first night I was there, I couldn't help myself and peeked through the windows every time I walked by. Although, most of the stores in Vegas were way out of my price league, it was still fun to window shop and then, head to H&M and Forever 21 to actually buy something. So when in Vegas, here’s my list of shopping centers that you should definitely check out (to actually shop at and to window shop at).
1. Las Vegas North Premium Outlets
Las Vegas has two outlet malls, one in the North and the other in the South, located off of the Strip and while I didn’t go to the South Outlet Mall, the North Outlet Mall is definitely worth the cab ride out there. The outlet has a good mix of stores that represent different price ranges from American Eagle Outfitters to Nike to Kate Spade. I was most excited to learn that this outlet had a Burberry outlet, but after going to it, I was disappointed as the outlet didn’t really have any sales. However, stores like Kate Spade and Polo Ralph Lauren had amazing sales. At Kate Spade most of the store was 60% off and then an additional 20% off and in Polo Ralph Lauren, most of the store was 40% off. Next time you’re in Las Vegas, I would definitely recommend checking out this outlet mall because it’s a huge outlet mall and many of the stores have sales that make the expensive cab ride worth it.
Notable Stores: Burberry, Michael Kors, Adidas, Pacsun, Kate Spade New York, Nike, Calvin Klein, Ted Baker London, Tory Burch, Saks Off 5th Avenue, Polo Ralph Lauren, American Apparel, and American Eagle Outfitters.
2. The Shops at Crystals
The Shops at Crystals are located on the strip and are attached to the Aria Resort & Casino. This was my favorite section of stores to window shop at. The whole center is made up of high end, designer labels and while I wasn't able to afford anything in any of the stores, it was still fun to window shop and look at all the clothes and accessories. If you're interested in designer labels, then I would definitely recommend going to The Shops at Crystals.
Notable Stores: Saint Laurent Paris, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Versace, Fendi, Prada, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and Louis Vuitton.
3. Fashion Show Mall
A mall located on the northern end of the Strip that prides itself on occasionally holding fashion shows for shoppers. I went to Las Vegas for the first time in 2011 and I was able to see one of these shows. My fourteen year old self thought it was the coolest thing ever and it easily became one of my favorite malls that I’ve visited. At this mall, Forever 21 is an anchor store and easily one of the biggest Forever 21 stores I've been to. In addition to the gigantic Forever 21, the mall includes hit European stores, Topshop and Zara. This mall has such a wide selection of stores and a lot of them are ones I don’t have near my hometown, which is always a plus.
Notable Stores: Forever 21, Anthropologie, Topshop, Zara, Urban Outfitters, Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Charming Charlie, Cotton On, and Lush.
