Shopping can be really fun if you know where to look. I love finding new, cute outfits in boutiques or on websites. I also want to be in the know about new trends in fashion. Being in a sorority requires different outfits for specific events, and it can be challenging to find unique, cute outfits for every occasion. Here is a list of my go-to boutiques I'm loving right now:
1. Vestique
Vestique is a boutique that has tons of trending outfits. Their summer stock includes products such as swimwear, rompers, maxis, and more. Newly popular patterns, such as tropical leaves, can be seen in different styles. The store also sells cute beach accessories for summer. I love going in and seeing the new outfits every so often. They have stores located throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. One being at Southpoint Mall in Durham, NC, and another at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, NC. They also have a website for online orders.
2. Lulu's
Lulu's is a perfect option for girls on-the-go and who may not have time to find the right dress. This store is located online and is my go-to for formal and cocktail attire. The store carries other clothes, but it specializes in dresses. They have dresses for every occasion. I also love that the website gives the length of the dress and all of the model info to compare it to your measurements. It really helps girls like me who need longer dresses for their height. They also sell cute jewelry and shoes so you can complete the look.
3. The Mint Julep Boutique
This boutique is available online and is great for all seasons. It has different styles of clothing, shoes, and accessories. The website also has a section just devoted to monogramming. This is perfect for gifts or to treat yourself. I have ordered different types of clothing from this boutique and loved what I ordered. If you create an account can also vote for items you love or do not like. This can come in handy in developing your style preferences. Their outfits are cute and classy, and offer nice casual options as well.
4. Cousin Couture
Cousin Couture is a small store located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. It has many cute outfits and shoes. It will even have the occasional prom dress option. They also provide outfits for pageant contestants such as Miss North Carolina. The store also has a website for those who cannot go in person. A page on their website is just devoted to formal wear if you're looking for a specific occasion. I find all of their products cute. They also have a good range of affordable and some more expensive pieces.
