If you're like I am, you like to spend your down time watching TV. The problem was, I felt like I was beginning to run out of things to watch! However, if you're an avid Netflix user, these are some shows I found that solved this problem. Here are some of the best Netflix originals available.
5. Chef's Table
Whether you like to cook or not, this interesting documentary style series follows the lives of chefs around the world. See what it's like to be a chef, to constantly work towards creating the newest and next best taste. The documentary takes you from Los Angeles to Sweden as you get the chance to explore cuisines and different food culture from around the world.
4. House of Cards
On it's fourth season already, "House of Cards" has proven to be a fan favorite with Kevin Spacey giving a stellar performance as Frank Underwood. If you're interested in politics, this show follows Underwood and his wife as he devises plan after plan to climb up the political ladder and assume greater power. It's a political drama that'll suck you into a world of manipulation, politics and the power struggle that comes with it all.
3. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
How can you not love a show created by Tina Fey, one of the funniest ladies on television today. If you're looking for a good, lighthearted show without drama to fill some time between rough classes, this is definitely the way to go! The series follows Kimmy Schmidt, a 29-year old who struggles to adjust to NYC life after held captive in a doomsday chamber for 15 years. Each episode is less than 30 minutes, making it the perfect in-between class break.
2. Orange Is The New Black
This really only isn't No. 1 because I feel like everyone and their mother has already seen it. Having had two successful seasons, there's not much more than can be added to the already fantastic and hilarious show about a woman who ends up in prison with a lot of interesting people.
1. Narcos
This show is fantastic. It's everything you could ever want wrapped into only one season of 10 episodes so far. The series follows the true story of drug kingpin Pablo Escabar as he rises to become one of the world's wealthiest men. It's an interesting story of how a poor boy rose to become the most prominent and wealthy drug trafficker ever known.
I love Netflix. They really cater to their audience, knowing that everyone has a wide variety of tastes and interests. However, one of the best things about it is that whether or not you're interested in politics or history or comedy, you will still be able to enjoy the variety of programs. The next time you have some free time in your day, take some time to enjoy what Netflix has to offer.
