Some days it feels as if the world is working against us. But other days, the little things in life contribute to bringing us the simplest amount of joy and relief.

1. Sneezing

2. The smell of clean laundry

3. Getting a good grade on a test you studied hard for

4. Eating freshly baked chocolate chip cookies

5. First sip of cold water when you’re thirsty

6. Being able to go to bed at night without setting an alarm

7. Brushing your teeth in the morning

8. The feeling after working out

9. Hot showers

10. Finally getting something out of your teeth (especially the skin of an apple)

11. The sight of a full tank of gas

12. Finding money in your pocket

13. Freshly shaved legs

14. Vacuum marks on the carpet

15. Singing alone in the car

16. Getting a car wash

17. Homemade cookie dough

18. Clipping your nails

19. Taking your jeans off after a long day

20. Driving barefoot

21. Getting a parking spot close to the door

22. Scratching an itch

23. Cracking your back and neck

24. Putting chapstick on

25. Hitting every green light

26. Waking up in the middle of the night and realizing you have more time to sleep than you thought

27. Laughing so hard your abdominal muscles hurt

We are all born to do something great.
